Pours a slightly transparent yellow with a foamy white head which quickly disappeared.

The smell is lemon, lime, orange, coriander and pepper.

The taste is sour lemon, apple, orange, salt, coriander and pepper.

The mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Easy drinking.

Overall a very tasty beer. Sour and almost cider like.

Delightfully tart and cider like. A nice lime/mandarin orange profile that changes with every sip

From can dated July 10 2014. Not sure what this tastes like when fresh but I'd like to try one and compare. Certainly refreshing, perfect for a 90 degree day.

BOD 4/9/15. Pours a hazy light amber (golden). Normal head volume, poor lacing and retention.

Slightly subdued nose of lime/lemon, coriander hints and a slight sourness over a mild saline background.

Light medium body with a smooth texture plus a nice chewy graininess from the wheat. Slightly below normal carbonation with a bit of effervescence in the middle and a nice rolling prickly effervescence going into the finish.

The outstanding flavor profile is intense, rather complex and well balanced. It begins with a lime flavored tartness that takes on a subtle sourness. These flavors are always present, but fade slightly in the middle allowing a bit of coriander to be noted over a wheat and biscuit background. Where the middle ends, the salinity begins. Underneath the lime is a mild sea water aspect that becomes most evident in the finish bringing a masterful balance to the tart and sour predominance. The finish is a slow fade of these flavors.

Pours gold with a minimal head that disappears completely! No lacing, nothing. Smell is faint, but sharp. Citrus like lemon, lime or grapefruit. Taste is excellent, mouth puckering sour but with a slightly sweet balance. There is very little carbonation and the finish is moderately dry. Overall, very good and the best Gose that i have tried to date.

First of all, a pet peeve about goses and almost any beer that's not a standard ale or lager - if you know going in that a beer is sour and salty and that this doesn't suit your palate, why give it a terrible review when you aren't familiar with how the style should taste? Anyway...
A: cloudy golden color, pours two fingers of fizzy white head which quickly dissipates to nothing.
S: wheat, sour lemon juice
T: Nice and tart. Initially get a hint of wheat and coriander followed by tart lemon juice with a finish of wheat and light salt. Refreshing
F: almost like a lemon soda - fizzy and highly carbonated. Light and slightly astringent and very refreshing
O: good example of the style; great beer for summer with low alcohol and good carbonation. The perfect lawnmower beer

I've had sours but I'm a newbie to goses. This was sour for sure but had the salt backbone to balance. Very very citrusy in a raw lemon or lime kind of way. Overall a really nice beer. Would definitely buy in summer.
