Notes:
Instead of just complaining, there is no hopefully enough or a chance that some of you will take notice of the subtle vinous oak character, and funky old timey taste of this 10 month barrel-aged and dry-hopped Belgian-style pale ale.

Thanks to JLindros for sharing.
A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a hazy golden hue with a thin white head.
S - Aromas of very brett, super cheesy.
T - Taste is similar to the nose, loads of cheese notes, tons of brett too. The almost blue cheese asserts itself over all other aspects.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated.
O - Overall this beer was rather messy. Loads of cheesy funk. Ugh.

All around, this was a very drinkable really good beer. A nice twist to a Belgian Pale Ale...the barrel tastes make this a easy beer to drink with a some really nice flavors. Big fan of Westbrook beers and this one, like other Westbrrok beers I have enjoyed, does not disappoint!

750ml served in a Duvel Tulip
Thanks to Hopswagger for this one.
Bottled June 2012
A - Super cloudy, tawny orange/brown color. 2 fingers of yellow head fizzle down forming a thin cap. Zero lacing.
Opened this one over the sink and I'm glad I did. Popped the top and out came gushing bubbles.
S - Big brett aroma, citrus and cherries, tart and sweet, tropical fruits, mango, pineapple but mostly papaya. I mean like you cut open a papaya and stuck your nose in it. There's a strong layer of wine soaked wood along. Some cherry bubblegum and mineral notes in the background along with some lactose sugar.
T - Tart fruit upfront, cherries, grapes, lemons, very seltzer like. Stings the tongue. Then it transitions into some sweet and fruity malts in the middle, orange citrus, some bubblegum, semi tart candy but quickly turning dry again. The wine barrel rolls in bringing in old vinous wood, dried tropical fruits, vinous basement funk, earthiness, dry with an refreshing finish.
M - Effervescent bubbles upfront, very dry in the middle but the dryness drops off a tad on the finish. The carbonation is overbearing the first pour but drops of as it sets. Medium wet body but full carbonation. Weird mouthfeel.
Awesome bretty aroma full of tropical and vinous fruit. The barrel was milder in the flavor but added plenty depth. The mouthfeel is weird and hard to explain. This bottle is almost 1.5 years old and I've never had it fresh so I can't tell if it's gotten better or worse but it's drinking great.

A - pours a hazy muddied light amber. Small white head that dissipated quickly, decent thick lacing hangs around the glass
S - lots of sour funkyness, smells great. Earthy subtleness
T - decent dry earthy bitter sour cherry flavors up front, the sourness lingers. Smells more tart/sour then it is
M - lighter bodied, slightly watery feeling. Good carbonation. Incredibly refreshing
O - tasty but not quite as fantastic as I expected

Got this as an extra in a trade with [I think] DoubleSunshine. Thanks!
Shared with a few folks at a recent tasting.
Medium amber color, with a foamy white head that left some lacing on the glass. In the nose, some bready malts and yeasty funk, slightly vinous. Taste of sweet bready malts, light fruity essence, grape and mild cherry, leather and earth, brett imparting a little funk. Body was about medium, carbonation was moderate. A good melding of flavors, yet nothing intense going on. Kind of walked the edge of a few different styles here, but overall it was an enjoyable brew.

Poured from the bottle into a tasting snifter.
The beer pours a cloudy reddish amber color with a layer of off white head that fades away rather quickly. The nose is full of funky brett with a mild wine note. The taste is quite funky and full of brett, but this beer is hardly sour at all. I'm getting some wine and lots of oak. The finish is really dry. I really enjoyed the oaky notes and thought the wine was a nice touch.

Pours a super hazy toffee color with a pretty thick off white head.
Smells of brett, vinous white wine character/grape.
Taste is big brett, some mildly sweet honey or flower character, white grape and other light fruit.
Lots of carbonation, nice full mouthfeel.
Really solid bretty sour, not super acidic, good balance of sweet backbone and brett funk.
