Poured from the bottle into a wheat ale glass. Bottled March 29th 2013.

A slow decant still provides a mild cloudy hazy lemon brown brass body, with lots of cola sized carbonation. Mixed in is some small carbonation bubbles also. Head comes up large with lots of snapping sound and bright white. Settles like soda pop and falls very quickly barely leaving a thin collar.

Nose has a mild tart lemon, but a real big wheat chewy density. Hints almost at lemongrass herb also. It has a great bouquet.

Tart and peach puckering on first sip, with a light body. Chewy wheat body follows on the swallow with a great malt bread density. Citrus angle and huge fruit flavor ranging from citrus, to tropical, to even hints of berried like tart fruit on this. Carbonation seems also toned down compared to what is visible. The feel is both also light and dense.

This is quite a good tasty berliner very impressed with it, a near perfect fruity summer beer.

Light yellow and very bubbly. Nice big bright foamy head that quickly fades. Smells are floral, peachy, sour, dank raspberry, lemon, champagne, and general happiness. Taste is refreshingly tart. Bright and implosive. Texture is smooth and a little gritty unexpectedly. Carbonation is just right. This beer is pretty fantastic.

750 mL bottle poured into a snifter. Bottled 3/29/13.

Appearance - Hazy pale yellow. Pours with a decent head but it doesn't last.

Smell - Very green and grassy. Grain and a little acidity.

Taste - Very grainy. A little bit of citrus tang. Sourness builds. Grassy flavors are back and a little offensive.

Mouthfeel - Light with high carbonation. Not super sour.

Overall - The "green" flavor is not pleasant. Almost vegetal.

Served from bottle into a Westbrook snifter (proper!). Poured a slightly hazy pale golden yellow with a one finger white head that subsided to a minimal amount almost instantly. Maintained decent lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, tart, sour, passion fruit, and subtle guava. The flavor was of sweet malt, tart, sour, passion fruit, wheat, earth, and fruit. It had a light feel on the palate with high carbonation. Overall this was a pretty good brew. This one really reminded me of cmrillo's homebrewed Berliner that he made awhile back. I really enjoyed his and now I can honestly say that I am really enjoying this one as well. The nose on this one is really nice and balanced. The flavor is more of the same, but it has just enough balance to make it really easy to drink and enjoyable as well. If you are a fan of fruited Berliners with a little more of an acidic aspect going on this one is definitely right up you alley without a doubt.

Very clear golden yellow beer. Head and retention not so great.

Very tart/sour yet sweet aroma. Pilsner malt. Hard to decipher more than this in the aroma.

Extremely tart, puckering sour flavor at first. Followed by some sweet, malty, grainy flavor in the background.

Very highly carbonated. Light to medium bodied, with an extremely dry, tart everlasting finish. The sour and dryness is pretty harsh on the tongue, but I kinda like it.

I like how this beer is really sour, but you can also pick up a significant amount of sweet, grainy flavor from the malt.

Poured a hazy gold with a short-lived head of airy, crackling foam on the surface. Aromas of tart, juicy lemon, wort-like grain and wheat, and some subtle berries. Big, tart, juicy flavor...lemon, a faint cereal grain sweetness, and lime. Light bodied and effervescent with a puckering quality that leaves the gums dry. Refreshing, crisp, sour, lemony, dry as fuck. Very enjoyable sitting outside at a picnic table on a late summer evening.
