Bottle pour at mrbubbler's tasting.
Bottled 6/28/13.
Pours a murky orange with a foamy off-white head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, spice, slight peach, and medicinal aromas. Taste is much the same with spice and yeast flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer with a decent flavor but the peach only really is noticeable in the smell.

Bottle from ygtbsm94. You’re the man, Brad! Review from notes. Orange body, mildly hazy, with a small cap. Fruity aroma, with peach and assorted stone fruit. Mild acetic character. Good, but definitely not great. Perhaps worth a revisit, should the opportunity present itself.

22oz bottle into snifter. Thanks a ton Rusel_G!
A: Slow motion gusher of a bottle. Pours an extremely hazy apricot color with huge, extremely frothy, fluffy, bright white head that took forever to slowly fade into a thick, fuzzy, soft and rocky film. A complex network of foamy lace was left down the glass.
S: Huge dominant notes of brett are both earthy and creamy. I get a hint of clove, sage, spice and juicy peach.
T: Follows the nose with dominant earthy, spicy, brett., tons of spice, but only a touch of peach. The finish is creamy, slightly minerally, and vaguely fruity. The aftertaste is lightly bitter and finally has a kiss of peach and maybe some banana and golden apple.
M: Very fluffy, frothy and creamy carbonation, with a drying and creamy mouthfeel and medium-full body.
O: Enjoyable but definitely not a peach bomb. Not terribly complex, but I’d probably drink it again. Thanks again Russell!

22oz. bottle poured into a snifter.
(A)- Pours a cloudy golden orange color. Produced minimal white froth.
(S)- Quite dry with mountains of juicy peaches. Not much else, but that sure smells good.
(T)- Not as hugely juicy as the smell, but a nice zesty orange and grapefruit citrus instead somehow.
(M)- A good carbonation level. Quite crisp and refreshing with a bit more subtle fruit than the smell leads you to believe. Nonetheless, very refreshing.
(O)- Not bad. The overall profile is good, but I wish it had more to it. More of a juice than a wild ale, where I expect some kind of funky sourness, but none in this example

Served from tap into a snifter. Poured a hazy orange-yellow with a one finger off-white head that subsided to a minimal amount very slowly. Maintained phenomenal lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, peaches, funk, spice, and earth. The flavor was of sweet malt, fruit, funk, spice, peach, and earth. It had a light feel on the palate with high carbonation. Overall this was a pretty decent brew. I do love the fact that Westbrook likes to experiment with all kinds of different things down at their brewery. However, you can’t crush them all. This one was a mild example in my opinion. There just didn’t seem to be a very great balance to this one as I would have hoped to expect from them. All of the components were there, it just felt like it lacked an intensity that you get with most of their brews. Still not bad, but definitely not one of the best I’ve had from the crew unfortunately.
