Delicious option as far as ginger beer goes. Crisp and light with hints of lemon-lime shining through. In all honesty, I’d be happy with an even stronger ginger flavor, as the ginger taste of this lager is incredible.

Unusual beer. From a can into a Sam Adam's glass. This is another in the weird ass beers based on any old spice that can be thrown into a vat. But this one works for me.

Pours transparent and light gold in color with a 3 finger white head and tons of visible carbonation. Reminded me of Ginger Ale, but after pouring some Canada Dry into a glass, I see it's a few shades darker.
Definite spice from the bottle, with the ginger coming through more clearly after the pour into my glass. Whiffs of ginger ale at times, with lime and lemon.
Semi dry with biting ginger, very citric from the fresh citrus, especially the lemon, and some bitter peel as well.
Light in body, crisp in feel. The ginger adds a bit of warmth
Very good. This really hit the spot. I got more lime in the aroma, but more lemon in the taste. A nice diversion from the milk stouts I've been drinking lately. I wish this had been available to me last summer. It could become a summer staple.

A: Clear gold, with half a finger of off-white foam.
S: Bready grains. Faint spicy notes, that become stronger and more identifiable as ginger with subsequent sniffs. Also a little lime aroma.
T: Mildly sweet malts, with a fair amount of ginger. For a second, It tastes like ginger ale, but the sweetness quickly yields to grain and grassy notes that are true to traditional lagers. Faint, tart citrus is also present from the middle to the end. Hops bitterness is minimal. Ginger notes persist throughout.
M: Moist and crisp, with fair carbonation.
O: An interesting and refreshing lager, even if not traditional. Enjoyable once, but I probably won't seek out another.

A:Light and bright, this lager pours a golden straw color. About a 1/2 inch of white head that dissipates within thirty seconds of pouring with the tiniest amount of lacing.
S:As soon as I opened the bottle, I could smell the ginger. Strong, but not overpowering with a fair amount of citrus and a hint of earthiness
T: First sip is full of ginger, as the nose promised. Ginger gives way to lots of lemon and lime, more than anticipated upon first sniff. As the beer gets warmer, notes of spice (my guess would be coriander) start to come through on the back of the palate and the ginger subsides to yield to the crisp, citrusy notes. Hops provide a nice little backbone that carries the beer to the end of the glass. Very light and refreshing, none of the flavors are weak nor too aggressive.
M:Light and thin, a little watery at first. As the beer got warmer, the body rounded out a little bit with a consistently clean finish. Definitely a lager.
O:A nice summer session beer. Definitely a great transition lager for people who are used to only drinking Crabbies. I wouldn't be mad about sipping one of these pool side.
