Looked good in the store! Poured into a Duvel Tulip it has a nice quickly receding tan head atop murky brown liquid...nose was of strange maltiness, almost off putting. The mouthfeel was thin, musty and malty flavors, weak finish. I don't know if this was a bad batch or indicative of a 'sugar free' beer. The carrier mentions being able to cellar for '5-10 Years'....dunno about that! Caveat Emptor, as I 'Emptored' the remaining 3 1/2 bottles down my drain.

Beer made without added sugars, which is essentially a niche market - like many beers the brewery - that is to say that people with diabetes. She is very bubbly, almost to a fault with a nose of lime finally low odor. The body is, it totally filthy, flat, tasteless except for a dirty bitter and insignificant.

Conclusion: it is absolutely necessary for sugar to a beer.

Pours a clear, gold color. 1/3 inch head of a white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of sweet malt, yeast, orange, pale malt, slight coriander, and a hint of grass. Fits the style of an American Pale Lager. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with a high carbonation level. Tastes of slight hop, slight yeast, sweet malt, pale malt, and a hint of grass. Overall, good appearance, aroma, and body.
