Great place, with a vast options of beers on tap. The staff on bar was very know knowledgeable about the beers, and the people around were really enjoying themselves. I'm sorry I couldn't stick around to try more, different options of beers.

Experienced a few years ago, didn't have food while I was there. In the evening it was dark and loud with a college-town vibe, but the tap lines were clean and it had a decent selection for the area.

Visited on a Saturday night around dinner time, busy with lots of energy. Located about 2-3 blocks west of Temple Bar, and this was more to our liking. Definitely more character than the Porterhouse pub across from Trinity College. Though we enjoyed both locations. Large bar at main level, then an extension of the bar up a half level. More seating up on upper levels. Lots of seating areas but was packed. Had at least 15 beers on tap, mostly their own. Thought the stouts were outstanding. Oyster Stout was very good but thought Plain Porter was even better. Pale and red ales were tasty as well. Only negative was our server basically ignored us, so we served ourselves at the bar. Bartenders were friendly and knowledgable. Would definitely visit either location again.

Visited in 2014. A large, airy brewpub with a wide selection of traditional Irish food and some seriously good seafood (try the oysters!). Their in house brews are varied and enjoyable - the oyster stout is a must try. Good service, chilled atmosphere (at least in the afternoon). Definitely worth a visit.

Visited in the last week of March, 2013 on two occasions, both times in the after dinner time frame.

Great location that is busy and has live music that can be heard through out. Tons of taps (15 ish), with most their own, including 2 casks. Their APA, old ale, and oyster stout are rock solid beers and I am glad to be trying them instead of the ubiquitous "Guinness" beers.

Take-away available (8 Euro for 4, 2.5 Euro for their special releases...). Definitely a place to visit again.
