Pours amber with a large, lasting head.
Nose shows floral, spicy hops with a bready, biscuity malt notes underneath.
Some of the spicy hops follow as flavours along with the biscuity malt. An assertive bitterness follows.
Great moderately high carbonation.

A 330ml bottle with a BB of July 2015. Purchased from the Brewdog webshop a little while back. Described as a hoppy lager created in a collaboration between To Øl / Ølrepubliken; I like the daft clipart selection on the label.

Poured into a Duvel tulip. Bottle conditioned. A bright, hazy golden-amber hue with fine sediment and medium carbonation. Produces a vast head of creamy white foam with good retention; this slowly reduces to a surface layer. Some lacing. Aroma of intensely fruity hops with hints of grapefruit, orange peel, citrus, white grape, mild pine, subtle tropical fruit, grass/hay, earthy yeast, light caramel malt and stewed hops. Amazingly hoppy.

Tastes of fruity aromatic hops with a dry, bitter finish. Notes of grapefruit, peel, citrus, white grape, pine, faint tropical fruit, grass/hay, earthy yeast, light malt and stewed hops. Possesses a subtle sweetness, followed by a strident, hop-driven bitterness upon swallowing. Mouthfeel is smooth and dry, with soft carbonation and good body. Hop oils tantalise the palate, though the carbonation could be a tad more lively. Pretty astringent, accompanied by an aftertaste of bitter aromatic hops, fruity notes and earthy yeast.

Boom - an avalanche of hops engulfs your tastebuds! Excellent beer. Looks great, while the aroma and flavour are liberally stuffed with fruity hops and underpinned by yeast and malt. Decent body - would benefit from enhanced carbonation. Not a very traditional lager but delicious nonetheless. If hops are your thing then this is well worth sampling.

Clear, dark golden color with off-white head. Aroma is quite hoppy but there are also some biscuity malts and some slight buttery note. Taste starts hoppy with earthy, woody notes, slightly bitter with a good malt backbone. Body is quite heavy and smooth for a lager. Really nice overall. Soft and hoppy like a pale ale but more clean and crisp like a lager.

Pours a pale bronze colour. Head is yellow-tinged off-white, decently sparse but good thickness. Lacing is OK. Bit dark, but fine.

Smells pleasant. Touch of caramelly malt complementing a nice tangy hop character with lemon, grapefruit and a slight metallic twang. Spells good things.

Taste is spelling more good things. Lots of tangy hops but a lovely, luscious blend of tangy fruit and cleansing bitterness. Mild biscuity malt base, but chewy citric hops dominate front and mid, then finish is still tangy, but just lightly bitter. Trailing off with notes of grapefruit, guava and some woody resin. Maybe some yeast. Light in all the right ways, tasty in all the right ways. A cracker.

Slight carbonation tingle but feels surprisingly smooth on the back. Pretty nice.

Cracking pilsener. Loads of flavour, but not getting bogged down in it.
