A: Poured into a tulip glass to a nice hazy light orange with a dense two finger white head that retains well and leaves decent lacing
S: Smells slightly herbal and salty with a hint of sourness.
T: Taste is a little herbal with a nice light lemony tart note. Hints of citrus and a little salt but that herbal note remains throughout. Swallow is a little salt more tartness and some lingering herbal notes.
M: This beer is on the lighter side of things but it isn't watery. Carbonation is adequate for the style and just slightly prickly. The light acidity gives the beer a semidry finish
O: Overall this beer is pretty good. The rose hips give the beer an interesting dimension. It could stand to be a little more tart but that's just a minor complaint.

love this brewery and pretty much all the do, but this one is definitely old at this point, still a fun one to share in an online session with the boys! one of them thought they may have lost their sense of taste from coronavirus because it was so muted in here, but it was admittedly awful cold when we started, although it really didnt open up much as it sat, this one has likely missed its moment, quite old now i am certain. super hazy from the bottle, way thicker and cloudier looking than i want the style to be, although there is plenty of carbonation and head, this is far from dead. the aroma is really slight, clean tartness, lemon, gentle tea-like herbs, and the minerals from the salt come through on a pale wheat base. the flavor is more vibrant than the nose but is also obviously faded some. the rose hip doesnt pop the way we wanted it to, although maybe some of the known health benefits have been retained, one can hope. salty for sure, slightly funky and with only trace oxidation for its apparent age. slightly woody to me from the old malt, not from actual wood exposure, plenty of salt, lemongrass notes, and maybe faint hibiscus. i like the soft fluffy wheat feel and the bubbles, but i cant help but think of how good this almost assuredly was years ago. it would still be good if it were a little lighter and cleaner, all this body and sediment is a turn off without the flavor present to demand it, but overall this was still a treat to try, always fun and unique beer from these guys, and a joy to drink with the homies. they should make this again and put in an affordable six pack of cans. its a science project at this point, but still fun!

Bottle bought at Liquor Shed.
Pours like a NE style IPA, a cloudy lemon yellow, great long lasting head of foam. Lacing is okay.
Big lemon aroma, herbal tea, salt, light tartness insinuated despite the big lemon.
Lemon and salt dominate the taste. Light herbal tea plays a minor role. Light tartness, thankfully, since I have had way too many sours lately.
Nice light body, justifiable carbonation.
Very enjoyable.

330 ml bottle into tulip glass, 14281602 code on the cap. Pours very hazy golden/orange color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of tart lemon, lime, peach, pear, green apple, berry, guava, citrus peel, pepper, sea salt, wheat, bread dough, floral, hay, straw, grass, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/acidic yeast, rose hips/salt, and moderate bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of tart lemon, lime, peach, pear, green apple, berry, guava, citrus peel, pepper, sea salt, wheat, bread dough, floral, hay, straw, grass, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/acidic tartness and yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, lime, peach, pear, green apple, berry, guava, citrus peel, pepper, sea salt, wheat, bread dough, and floral/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, rose hips/salt, and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/tart/spiciness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from acidity as well. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/acidic, and lightly saline/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.3%. Overall this is a very nice gose. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, rose hips/salt, and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink with the balanced acidity. A very enjoyable offering.

Thick cloudy yellow, like a yellow juice of some sort. So thick it turns dark near the bottom. Topped with a finger of fluffy white head.
Peaches, really fruity, a hint of lemon juice. A slight musty cellar quality. Almost a hint of fresh urine, and a hint of salt almost like the sea.
Salty, bitter, lemon juice, fruitiness is to the background. Hint of unripe peaches. The ureic acid is there, and little salty briny quality, as well as a hint of sweetness. Berry like quality as in tart berries as well.
Medium to almost thick juice like quality, sour dry puckering finish. A sort of tannic dryness to the finish as well.
Got this gem on wishbeer, drank in Chiang Mai Sept 21st, 2015. Less sour and salty than Westbrook's version, and more fruity in comparison. Still very interesting and worth trying.

Pours hazy as fruit juice, straw head.
Nose shows wheat, lemon rind, floral notes. Rather subtle.
Slightly acidic flavours, some herbal, floral and perfumous notes.
