-watermelon red and very cloudy tap pour with a thin foam cap. Aroma is lightly fruit tinged. The flavor is lemon and lemony sour with some stone fruit. The finish is somewhat dry. This is quenching.

Poured from fridge temp in bottle share. Pours a murky orange with white head. Nose is clementine, pine, grapefruit peel, raspberries, and a tiny bit of spice. Taste in lychee, raspberry, citrus peel, and sour cherry. Mouthfeel is dry and light.

Pink to red color, creamy white foam.
The smell is essentially sweet, like sugared cherry juice.
A bit less sweet in the taste, but still, cherry juice.
Not interesting, and not sour at all. Just a hint of lemony tartness.
Not understand it.

Pours an interesting murky, pink grapefruit color and sports a very thick, fluffy, sticky head. The aroma presented some initially strong barnyard funk the settled into a rustic cherry and raspberry quality. The taste delivers a decidedly heavy sour and citrus flavor. The mouthfeel is heavy with a soft fizzy quality; acidic and dry overall.
I cannot associate this particular beer with a Christmas or winter holiday brew (except, perhaps, with its mildly reddish hue), but as a wild/sour ale, it is pretty top notch. The brewing notes indicate cherries being used in the brewing process, and one can pickup on this, yet I perceive more of a red grapefruit quality overall. Regardless, it is a fine looking beer, has some excellent balance and depth throughout for a sour beer.

these guys have become one of my favorite operations out there anywhere, and its the innovative and different beers like this one that keep me so stoked on what they do. a sour wheaty pale ale here with cherries and a bunch of australian hops. there is a ton going on, but it is resolved and complete and makes excellent sense by the end of the glass. im not sure it screams holiday beer at me, but its a little something different for the season. milky pink in color, the fruit addition is obvious visually, and after the initial pour, there isnt a lot of head. really thick murky brew, but the color is nice. aroma is tart cherries and juicy fruity hops with notes of green apple, pineapple, and citrus, very interesting mix. the flavor lines up pretty well with the nose, fruit is more tart than sweet, and there is the fruitiness in the hops is well, which are anything but subtle here, and then there is a huge wallop of bitterness in the finish, almost ipa-esque there later on, no sweetness from the malt or cherries in the end to balance, almost harsh to close, but really cool too. grassy and fresh as well as tropical and bitter. less intense on the fruit than some of their other beers, which lets the hops stand out more too. sourness is moderate, bacterial, and clean, just right for the flavors in here. there is also a fair bit more carbonation here than it looks like it would have, so its pretty lively feeling overall. impressive beer, quite unique, and very well dialed in. cant get enough of their beers right now!

Orange-pinkish color with white head. Aroma has hops, tartness and fruits. Taste is really well put together, integrating the hops, acidity and cherries very well. Body is smooth with good carbonation. Really nice, complex yet very drinkable beer.
