A 500ml can, with a best before date of 8th November 2018. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A very lightly misty golden colour, with a two finger white head that had good retention and left some nice sticky lacing.
Aroma: Light tartness, guava, passionfruit, mango and grass.
Taste: Tart, guava, passionfruit, mango, lemon juice, then it just goes really sour with nothing to balance it.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate to low carbonation.
Overall: A self described NEIPA, but really, nothing about it screams NEIPA. I believe it was created with Garden of Eden (which I actually enjoyed) in mind, but this was just a strange one for me. Aromas were good and fruity, but taste just went full on sour after starting out encouragably with some nice fruitiness. There was no balance to the sour and zero bitterness. A sour Fruit beer comes to mind here, but good ones have more complexity than this pure sour bomb.

The colour is yellow with a tint of orange, the liquid is almost clear. The two-finger head is white and airy; it sinks slowly to a thin lid leaving no lacing on the glass.
The smell got notes of citric fruits and some toffee sweetness. It got unclean notes of beef stock, dough and raw meat.
The taste is quite bitter with tart notes of lime juice. Growing notes of harsh citric inner peels and unripe fruits. Dense sweetness, medium body. The aftertaste got more lime and some semi-sweet exotic fruits. Gunpowder, lime juice, salt and alcohol in the finish.
The carbonation is strong, the many very small bubbles are sharp and long-lived. The liquid is semi-smooth.
An unbalanced and tart NEIPA. I am not impressed.

Pours a fairly clear yeallow with thick head.
Smell is fruity and a bit tropical, with some pine and tartness.
Taste seems a little bit off... a bit tart, but with some bitterness. These two flavors don't really meld, which makes the whole thing a bit unbalanced. Not bad, but I wonder if this really is what they were going for...
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a bit of an odd duck. Not bad, but slightly left field...
