2014 pouring amber in color, good head and some lacing. Nose a combination of hops and oxidation notes. Taste more like a German style dark beer at this time. Generally good but nothing spectacular.

On draft. Poured a clear, golden orange color with a small, pillowy head of off-white foam. It smelled of caramel, bubblegum and citrus. Toasted caramel and orange with a phenolic bite.

Eyes: Pours a nice, deep golden with great top and lacing.

Nose: The first bit I get is something medicinal--almost plastic or rubber. Beyond that, there are some nice layers. Toasted malt notes mixing with a floral character and lavender. There is something slight that's vegetal and earthy. Finishes with a peppery/spicy note.

Tongue: Sweet toffee, from the malt. A mild, overripe banana note that gives way to some fruity/floral hop tones. The brett character is small but consistently throughout--seems to pull it all together with the slightest funkiness. Finishes grassy with some of that Belgian spice.

Mouth: Nice, medium body. Slightly boozy with a dry finish as one might expect.

Overall: A decent brew. Mediocre nose, and a touch sweet up front. I enjoyed the minimal use of the brett though. My first beer from To Ol, but not my last.

Pour is lightly hazed copper amber with an off white tight head. Nose is dominated by candied sugar with a touch of sweet malt and sweet citrus hop. Taste is again dominated by candied sugar, the finish has a tartness to it that thins the flavor. A bit of sweet malt up front, hops are faint in the finish. Carbonation is extremely strong, body is fairly light. Beer is sweet and a bit simple, hops don't really shine through and brett doesn't really make a presence other than thin out the finish.
