On tap. Shaker glass. Enjoyed @ Freiburg (Barcelona). Golden color, chill haze appearance. White crown showing fairly good retention. Mint, herbal, green wood & piney aromas. Crispy & malty upfront. Light to medium body. Soft carbonation. Subtle spicy palate. Oily to watery texture. Hints of fruity hops in the middle. Dry bitter/sweet finish.

Pours amber with a small head.
Floral and fruity hops in the aroma, lots of peach and orange blossom. Some soft sweet malt too.
Very hoppy, aggressive flavours. Lots more floral and fruity hops. Very bold, sharp bitterness, with little supporting sweet malt.
Carbonation seems a bit full-on.

Cloudy orange. Two finger frothy head.
Aroma of pine cone and sprig.
Floral hops and fruit taste with a hint of burnt toffee. Astringent.
Soft carbonation.
A little too much bite for my palate.

33cl bottle. Pours a clear amber, with a tall white head. Smells dank, of citrus and piney hops. Tastes crisp and bitter, with notes of citrus and bitter hops.

A: Pours a transparent pale amber with a reddish glow around the edges. Frothy head that retained well with moderate lacing. Looks very similar to an American Pale Ale.

S: Citrus hop aromas blended with subtle floral notes.

T: Round tropical esters hit the palate up front; guava, pear, grapefruit; slightly pithy. A hint of pilsner malt present. Bitter and citrusy finish.

M: Light-medium bodied with present carbonation.

O: Very nice. Bitter for the style, but well balanced with the complex fruit flavors. In my opinion, tastes much more like a pale ale than a pilsner.

330ml bottle. The sentiments (in plain English) on the label 'Sometimes when you're drunk you can see better' would not fly in certain Liquor Control Boards in this broad country of ours. Jebus bless Alberta! On topic, ya gotta wonder if the rows and columns of multicoloured dots on said label are actually some sort of picture puzzle.

This beer pours a hazy, medium copper amber colour, with two rather skinny fingers of weakly foamy, and hardly even fizzy dirty white head, which leaves some swaths of botanical confluence lace around the glass as it quickly abates.

It smells of a bitter pine and dank leafy hop bitterness, gritty crackery and grainy pale malt, black pepper, mild orange and lemon rind, and further floral, indistinctly fruity hops. The taste is dank leafiness and pine needles straight off the top, more bready, crackery pale malt, mixed domestic citrus and exotic Sauvignon Blanc fruitiness, warming spice evocative of white pepper, and a weird overripe melon character, indeed.

The carbonation is pretty low-key, even with a few odd frothing events considered, the body an adequate medium weight, and actually quite smooth, the hops apparently taking a smoke break right about now. It finishes off-dry, just, as the south-seas fruitiness has enough staying power to rise against the lingering dankness of grass, pine, and seemingly everything else.

Wow, a new twist on what a Bohemian Pils can be - forget the plain Jane grassy or gassy, add some dank! It works elsewhere, and now it works here, even though I may not have agreed if you asked me about it yesterday. Anyways, enjoyable in its sidestepping, however, its strength is apparently not high enough to make me see any better, vis-a-vis the label. I'll keep trying.

I had it on 33cl bottle. Very brillant golden colour, the white foam don’t last for long time. At the nose there is a little caramel sensation but the strongest preception is cedar and some floral and herbs smells from the hops. Medium body, smooth but very hopped. On their website they define this beer a Pils but it is closest to an IPA than to a Pils even if the flowers and the herbs smells quite remember the typical pils aroma. But in the end is a good beer, I reccomend it.
