Back in the days, only uncomplicated and tasteless beers excited and people started feeling bored before happy hour was up. Molotov Lite is a understated tour de force in rebellious hoppiness, it’s a subtle spark for action and yet by far one of the most anti-authoritative beers ever made by Evil Twin Brewing.

Can picked up locally and enjoyed from a tørst red spike wine glass. Canned 055 15, so a little over a month old.
a - brew pours a deep sienna orange but transparent with plenty of visible carb and a nice frothy IPA head w some chunky lace on the glass.
s - nose is a soft almost watered down dank resinous hop. Some sweetness on the back end.
t/m/o - more flavor punch and thickness than the nose suggests. A lighter version of Molotov to the t. Way more manageable but in the land of today's IPAs this is fairly forgettable. Not bad, but there is just too jcc world class competition in the IPA space. Worth the tick and an enjoyable brew, but won't be a staple in my fridge.

-Batch 034.
A: A soapy and washy dull ivory head is patchy and thin atop a dark, opaque orange colored body. Tons of macro-bubbly carbonation within with slight sticky treads of lace.
S: Lemon and lime, reminds me of a mexican lager. Some outliners of cantaloupe, pretty decent strength level. Solid good with some dank oranges coming on the finish.
T: Flavor was tart, of musky oranges, and lemons. Dry musky cobwebs adds a yeasty flair with some bitter stale hops on the finish. Has a good deal of alcohol awareness on the swallow, solvent like. Caramel orange specialty grains provide the backbone.
M: Crackly carbonation, good chewy base malts. Speciality grains provide the back bone with a compliment of dry powdery stale hops coating on the tongue.
O: Overall not sure of date, but the finish of solvent like alcohol maybe was intended due to name, but was a bit much regardless. Im guessing they called it a Moltov for good reason. Does relax a bit deeper into the drink but is not session-able material but any means.

Looks good, smells okay with some hops coming through, but tastes terrible. I appreciate the alcohol content but I was struggling to finish this one. Just not for me.
