On a pilgrimage for immortal craft beer we tripped on these heavenly cocoa nibs - threw them in at created damn good aromas, a thick fudge-like body, pitch black color and obviously only made it in limited amounts. And the taste... Même Jésus BA Plus!

A: Pours an opaque yet still clear thick viscous jet black in color with light to moderate amounts of fine visible carbonation along the edges of the glass and very faint extremely dark cola brown highlights. The beer has a quarter finger tall foamy dark mocha head that quickly reduces to a large patch of very thin film covering the majority of the surface of the beer with a small patch of medium thick film and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate to strong aromas of dark roasted malts, rich cacao nibs, and brandy with a hint of oak. Light aromas of freshly roasted coffee.

T: Upfront there is a strong flavor of dark roasted malts and dark malts with a light amount of milk chocolate + caramel sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of rich cacao nibs and dark chocolate with moderate flavors of freshly roasted coffee. Moderate flavors of oak and brandy adding a touch of sweetness to the finish. There is a moderate to strong amount of roasty bitterness which lingers well through the finish.

M: Full bodied with light to moderate amounts of carbonation. Smooth with a light amount of alcohol warming in the finish.

O: For as big a beer as this one is, the alcohol is well hidden (only slightly noticed as some light warming in the mouthfeel). Enjoyable and well balanced - just enough sweetness from the malts and cacao nibs + brandy to balance out some of the roasty bitterness. Definitely a sipping beer and the brandy barrel aging is a touch lighter than I expected but adds some nice elements to the smell and taste.

Received in a ninja box from @Dragginballs76 – thanks Michael!
Undated 11.2 oz bottle stored at 42 degrees. Served at 60 degrees in a hand washed and dried Jester King snifter.
Aroma – very weak brandy notes.
Head small (Maximum one cm, aggressive pour), brown, average density, short retention, diminishing to an irregular two to three mm creamy to rocky ring and swirls of ultra-tiny bubbles rather than a distinct layer.
Lacing – none.
Body – dark brown/black, opaque.
Flavor – chocolate fudge, slightly sweet. Not much else until I warm it in my mouth then the alcohol and brandy barrel put in a weak appearance. No hops, no malt, no diacetyl.
Palate – medium, watery more than creamy, soft carbonation.

OK, I guess, but nothing great. Probably cost a lot more than it’s worth.

Appearance 3.25, Aroma 3, Flavor 3.25, Palate 3, Overall 3.

Poured a black body with minimal head and no real lace patches. The aroma has notes of chocolate, vanilla/booze, and wood but it's the booze that stands out for some reason. Heavy bodied beer that maintains a smoothness to it that makes it easy to drink. Booze adds a touch of heat on backend but for most part it's a chocolate sweetness w/ hints of spice that I taste. Not bad but nothing outstanding.

Undated bottle poured at about 60 degrees. Brandy barrel modest on the nose. Bitter dark chocolate rules the mouth. Really nice, thick feel. There's some booziness, with a touch of bitter & heat closing it out.
