Deep golden body with great lacing around the glass. Big nose of hoppy aromas. Citrusy, a little floral. Fresh and crisp flavor profile with a hoppy punch. Plenty of citrusy hops here.

Really hazy peach color with off-white head. Aroma is really juicy and fruity with melon and milky yeast notes. Taste is also really juicy, tropical, slightly grassy and bitter on the finish. Medium body with medium to soft carbonation. Overall it's a really good NE DIPA.

Bought the can at Kihoskh in Copenhagen. It was priced by a madman, and bought by another one. Price was 68 Danish Kronor, which translates to just over 10 dollars. The important question, though is if it's worth it. Let's see.

It pours a murky orange, with some floaties. Not a lot of foam.

The smell is very juicy and tropical, a bit sweet upfront. Lots of mango and a slight hint of vanilla. Swirling it releases some notes of orange peel.

First sip is massively boozy. Warms the mouth and chest as it goes down. When the initial booze lifts you get some juicyness, along with plenty of citrus peel and a bit of pine. Bitterness is well integrated, but more pithy than hoppy.
As it warms, it gets a bit fruitier and slightly grassy. The booze, however, prevents anything else from really shining.

Mouthfeel is soft and pillowy, maybe a little bit undercarbonated.

So, was it worth 10 bucks? Not really, no. It's good, but the booze just blankets my tongue and kind of numbs it. Glad to have tried it, but would not pay that price again.

The one I'm drinking is very different than the one described here. It's a 7.6% DDH IPA with Galaxy, Citra, Simcoe and Falconer's Flight. Everyone hop stands out to me. Grassy galaxy with some sweeter tropical fruit Citra notes, some earth, melon and teaFalconer's Flight notes and a touch of old school Simcoe.

The predominant flavor profile here for me is the Falconer's Flight. If you like that hop you should like this IPA.

solid offering that reminds me of Tasmanian IPA, though with a bit more juice. mango and papaya flavors and a fairly minimal malt backbone. balanced and drinkable.
