First off, Key Lime pie is my favorite dessert. This combines my favorite beer style with my favorite dessert, can’t go wrong! Was kind of hoping for a little more flavor like a slice of Kermit’s in Key West. Alas, it was not to be. However, this is a solid, refreshing beer and I like it. Pours a nice, hazy golden color. White head with very minimal retention. Some debris floating in the glass which is pretty common these days. Kind of reminds me of a gose style beer.

L: Hazy gold and filled with floaties under a 1" white cap with poor retention.
S: Smells like key lime pie with lime and graham cracker and some citrus hop aromas in the background.
T: Starts with tart lime flavors followed by graham cracker and some other citrus flavors. Medium sweetness balances the tart
F: creamy, tart, medium body, chunky
O: Nails the key lime pie aspect but the chunks make the beer look like vomit.

Wow. Loved this beer when it came out, and just found another one. Drinking it now, and it is bomb!!! Unbelievable, tastes like lemon-lime gatorade

This interesting almost experimental IPA has neither enough Key Lime Flavor, or enough IPA flavor to be better overall beer. We enjoyed this refreshing deviation, but not enough to order a second.

I do not know the date of this beer I received it about 45 days ago. Evil Twin Brewing beers have been a hit or miss. They do a lot of gimmicky beer and some work many do not. The beer is 45 degrees and served in a pint glass. The pour on the beer produced a one finger airy and foamy head. The head dissipated rather quickly leaving nothing on the glass. The color of the beer is SRM 4 a pale straw color with amber hues. The clarity of the beer is clear with effervescence drifting lazily within.
The initial aromas in the beer are the sour key lime aromas and cereal notes. Next, I smell crackers, pineapple, pine, and yeast. In the background of the beer, there is a subtle malty sweet aroma. The beer's nose does not give much away. I cannot tell if it is an IPA or what.
The initial flavor I got was the sour key lime and graham crackers. Next, I taste yeast, grapefruit, cracker, pineapple, milk, and cereal. The flavors in the beer do not tell me it is an IPA.
The mouthfeel of the beer is tart and dry.
The body of the beer is medium-light, light carbonation, and a medium finish.
Overall this beer is not exciting the palate. Where are the IPA flavors? I want more hop flavors in the beer, alas I did not. The beer has more sour notes than IPA. I will not purchase again.

A bright yellow-orange brew. Smells of fresh sqeezed lime juice and graham cracker with some other light fruits in the background. Goes down with more light fruits up front followed quickly by faint graham cracker and herb,a hit of key lime, and finishes with lots of lingering lime zest.
A hugely unique IPA that grabs your attention and holds it from start to finish.

Look: Hazy yellow/gold with a white head that reduced to lacing around the edge of the glass. Like the color of mango in juice.
Smell: Like key limes! Finally a key lime beer that lives up to its name, you can smell it from several inches away from the rim of the glass. Otherwise citrusy nose.
Taste: Definitely let this beer warm up a bit from fridge temp. Nicely balanced tart vs sweet from the limes. Got some tropical hop notes going on in there too. Got the breadiness of graham cracker out of there too.
Feel: Medium-heavy body with enough haze that you can feel it. Soft, easy carbonation. Kind of slick going down the hatch.
Overall: I am quite impressed. I had a few other key lime beers in the past and they were all... "off". This one is definitely on the tart side, but so are real key limes.

Fruity rich sweet sour pungent creamy & sappy. Hops in the background but balances lime/malt sweetness. Key Lime Pie in a can.
