Poured into a pint glass, this was an inky black brew with a thin deep orange brown head that quickly faded.

Aroma was chocolate, coconut and malt.

Taste matched the aroma at first, but on the back end came pineapple. The alcohol was essentially completely masked.

Feel was light despite looking like motor oil.

Overall a great brew that I would seek again.

Can poured chilled into half pint glass
opaque black with medium brown head
the smell is cocoa rich with toasted coconut and subtle tropical fruit ester with heavy malty sweet scent
the feel and flavor is intense lactose is apparent in sweetness with rich palate heavy almost syrupy yet roasted and sweet textures intertwine with tangy pineapplesweetness and moderate alcohol as it finishes with lots of residual sugars leavy the palate coated with malt that has thick and mixed amount of roasted nutty and tropical fruit flavors
The unique blend of dark malt with coconut and pineapple is less pina colada and more strong stout with alcohol warming and tangy tropical pineapple yet aroma has more coconut than taste...was a very enjoyed strong stout but glad I split since 12.8% in a pint form seems excessive for me anyway

16 ounce can into a snifter. Canned 10/5/19, had 11/29/20.

Pours near black and opaque, thick looking, with a one inch head of darker foam and some darker foamy lacing. Aromas of roasted malt, coconut, chocolate, light pineapple, some vanilla, a little smoke. The flavors are mostly alike- roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla, some coconut, light pineapple, some molasses, some bitterness. It’s a little sweet, not bad. Smooth, a solid full body, a little creamy, appropriately carbonated.

Typically solid and hearty Evil Twin stout. The coconut shows pretty well, the pineapple less so. Very enjoyable, but the add- ins could have been a little more intense. I’m sure the age didn’t help that, though.

16oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It smelled of coconut, pineapple, roasted malt and chocolate. Toasted coconut taste with hints of pineapple. Great roasted malt and chocolate taste.

A very thick pour and pitch black. One of the darkest stouts I have seen. The initial tastes are soy and dark roast. This beer opens up halfway through and turns into a pineapple upside down cake. Love this rich stout.

I have pondered what OFYMD means and came up with zilch. I am looking forward to trying this stout. The description of the stout came across as a chocolate pineapple upside-down cake. The beer is 50 degrees and served in a tulip glass. The beer created a two-fingered head with excellent retention. The head of the beer is creamy and foamy but left no lacing on the glass. The head of the beer is a medium brown color. The color of the beer is SRM 34, a dark used oily brown. The appearance of the beer is above average for this style.

The initial aromas in the beer are dark chocolate, pineapple, coconut, and coffee. Next, I smell toffee, caramel, molasses, roasted malts, grass, floral esters, smoke, burnt sugar, earthiness, leather, and raisins.

The flavors in the beer are medium chocolate, pineapple, coconut, oranges, caramel, toffee, roasted malts, molasses, burnt sugar, earthiness, floral esters, leather, tobacco, and raisins.

The mouthfeel of the beer is chewy and creamy.

The body of the beer is full, low carbonation, and fuller finish.

The beer is nothing like a chocolate pineapple upside-down cake. The flavors in the beer are more like pineapple and coconut mingled with dark roasted malts. Big malt flavors, and beautiful mouthfeel in this beer. The flavors that were added are not overpowering. I enjoyed this offering.

16oz can poured into a snifter

A- pours jet black in color with a dark brown head that reduces to a ring around the edge

S- it does have a tropical vibe in the nose; pineapple, coconut, sunscreen. Charred malt and chocolate, chocolate icing, caramel, vanilla cream

T- surprisingly bold notes of pineapple and coconut up front, I really wasn't sure if they could pop through the base beer. Mid-palate gives slightly charred malt and chocolate notes, as well as caramel, the finish gives more pineapple and roasted malt

M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a creamy mouthfeel that continues into a creamy finish

O- I wasn't sure what to expect from this one, but I'll try any ET stout at least once, the pineapple and coconut worked really well

Second try, time for a written review!
First review 4.25 look with the rest 4.5s.

OMG TWO HEAVY HITTERS IN THE HYPE GAME COMIN TO A TOWN NEAR YOU!

Poured from can into big-ass brandy glass. Or wine glass. Whatever you wanna call it. Slightly less than room temp.

Huge cafe foam head, deep brown and black. Flotsam and jetsam after the cops come to break up the party.

huge upfront chocolate and coconut, low key vanilla and coffee. Malts coming through on this big time. Nice add-junk there with the co-co-NUT.

Has a kahlua piña colada thing goin on. And before you ask, “WhY NoT dRInK a PiNa CoLaDa w/ KaHLuA?!!?”
Because that’s not the point, honky.

Full to medium with an oil and slick “ooo-mami” Smoove

It’s ok, in fact it’s pretty good for a philistine like me. Hail santa! But for cereal, I had to knock em down a notch, everything is now a 4.25. Still pretty, pretty, pretty good
