Poured into a small tulip glass a deep copper/bronze with a nicely formed 1/2 finger head that left a few broken chunks of lace as it settled.Big pine notes in the nose, quite resiny, sweet honey and sweet alcohol stand out as well.A big sweet DIPA like way to many out there on the palate, brown sugar, alcohol, and drunken fruit mixed with underlying resiny hops, the alcohol really hits after the beer warms. It's a DIPA like many it's sweet and alcoholic, par for the course.

Best by 2015 on the label.
Red/orange color, very pretty. Spotty head.
Sweet malt aroma predominately. Citrus hops, and a little bit of herbal hops.
Strong sweet malt taste. Grapefruit, orange, pineapple. Some late piney hops.
This was a very smooth and drinkable DIPA.
A little bit on the expensive side ($6.99 for the bottle).

Poured from bottle into tulip glass. Bronze color. Cleer.
Balanced malt and hop notes blend well. Nothing overpowering.
The taste is balanced up front with a mild citrus aftertaste.
A delicious beer that I enjoyed very much.
A nice clean IPA that is very enjoyable.

12 oz bottle. Pours hazy reddish gold with a big rocky off white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is piney grapefruity hops with sweet caramel malt.
The flavor is sweet sugary caramel malts with fruity hops that have a pretty harsh bitter aftertaste. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied and a bit watery.
Overall, an OK sweet and fruity DIPA, but it's a bit watery with a harsh aftertaste.

Bottle served in a tulip. Pours a dark amber color. Nose is somewhat lacking. I pick up the sweetness of the malts more than anything else. The taste confirms that this is very malt forward. Not bad, but not my style.

Had on tap at the Pig & fiddle and from a one month old 12 oz. bottle.
A: Brilliant copper amber under a 1” sudsy white foam collar that leaves thin sheets of lace.
S: malt, earthy hops, some caramel and citrus.
T: Big and rich and hot, dry with light fruit at the start of the tongue getting hot and spicy and citrus bitter as it moves to the back.
F: Warming, Some astringency in the finish from the hops.
O: a big aggressive Imperial IPA.

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a Brooklyn chalice.
Appearance: Pours a hazy amber orange with a moderate amount of bubbles. About two fingers of off white head which settle into a thin patchy layer.
Smell: A juicy and earthy hop forward aroma with hints of citrus fruit and grass. Citrus hop presence with hints of grapefruit, orange peel, mango, lemon, and melon. Earth hop hints of grass and some subtle pine. Sweet bready malt hints of caramel, biscuit, cracker, and yeast. Also some tea like hints and a sweet scent of sugar. A solid hoppy aroma.
Taste: Like it smells, a juicy and earthy hop forward taste with somewhat rustic notes of citrus and grass. Citrus hop notes of orange, grapefruit, mango, lemon, and melon. Earthy and floral hops with notes of wet grass and a little pine. Good backing presence of sweet malt with notes of caramel, cracker, biscuit, and yeast. On the sweeter side of IPAs. A pretty solid taste.
Mouthfeel: Full bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Juicy, oily, and fairly chewy. Finishes dry. Alcohol heat is mild.
Overall: A solid take on an Imperial IPA. Nice notes of citrus and earthy hops.
