Fruity nose, primarily orange peel and light fruit with a touch of bacon and smoke.
Pours clear gold under a ½” finely bubbled foam cap that descends to a thick film.
Light malt with orange peel and spice recede to a slight astringent note from the spice accented by bitter citrus rind hops that linger into the after taste.
Effervescent, fairly light, refreshing.

This is a good Saison, hitting all the proper notes, but lacking the rustic depths that make this style so appealing.

Pours a murky light yellow-orange with a foamy off-white head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, earth, spice, Belgian yeast, and Brett like aromas. Taste is much the same with tropical fruit, spice, Belgian yeast, funk, and Brett like flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of earth bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that has a Brett like aspects even though I don't think any was used in this beer.

Serving type: bottle.

My issue with Saisons has always been the clovey flavor imbued by the yeast. The Beaster Bunny has almost no peppercorn, clove or spiciness but has more of a sweeter tone. That sweetness lends to a bubblegum flavor with a hint of natural banana. The malt is more doughy and bready at the back. It drinks very light and easy but has a hefty tone.
