Drank straight from the can in a coozie...the way god intended.

A: Unknown. The can is nice. Poured a splash into a wineglass. Lots of head. Hazy auburn.

S: Amazing fruity rich hops. Loads of pineapple. Still noticeably bitter.

T/M: Creamy and delicious. Goshdarn this amazing. Aftertaste is lingering and bitter, the mouthfeel is out of this world, and the main body is full of fruit and spritely hops. Complex, rewarding, and amazing.

O: WOW. INCREDIBLY impressed. Highly recommended. Would drink this everyday. Will seek out.

A: Golden with a white head.

S: Peach, pine, orange, and a bit of grapefruit in the nose.

T: A decent malt backbone upon which rests orange peel, and a dry champaign-like fruitiness.

M: Medium bodied and smoothish.

O: Delicious. My notes are bit hazy as I had several beers that night, but I remember this being particularly good.

dark golden color with a white head that holds very well and leaves very nice lace. nose is bitter grapefruit with a touch of pine and just enough sweet malt to give a little balance/backbone. taste is bitter as well. quite drinkable. very nice grapefruity pale ale with just enough malty goodness to round out and compliment. seems like this pale ale was in to hops before you knew they were hoppy (had to make a hipster joke). on the lighter side of medium body, with a clean, bitter finish. not much else to say besides this is a well-done, easy-drinking, light pale ale and seems to be one of my favorites so far from evil twin.

A: Poured from a can to a pint glass. Had an orange-brown color and a cloudy consistency. There was an inch and a half of fluffy, white, long-lasting head. Very good lacing.

S: A surprisingly hoppy aroma (more than I expected for an APA), with hints of citrus in it as well.

T: Like the smell, the taste had a good deal of hops in it, but also a bit of citrus and some malt in the finish. This beer is almost overhopped - it gets a little harsh at times - but is generally pretty solid. Tastes more like an IPA than an APA.

M: A well-carbonated beer with a slightly harsh and bitter finish. Light- to medium-bodied.

O: Not exactly a groundbreaking beer, but very enjoyable and easy to drink.

Purchased from Ledger's Liquors in Berkeley, CA.

Pours a pleasant golden colour, with a slight hazing in the body. Head is full, foamy and shiny, forming excellent lacing as it subsides. Body is smooth but pleasantly full. Really, overall, it's a great looking pale ale.

Nose is light but sharp, with a really direct, clean citric hoppy character giving a piercing freshness to the aroma. Some smooth, grainy malt sits underneath, but it's light in volume and colour. Very pleasant overall.

Taste is similar, but perhaps veering to the more generic malt-hop APA balance. Some smooth light clean malt sits below a bright, slightly grassy, slightly citric hop bitterness that stays fresh and bright to the end, and cleans the palate out nicely, leaving only a hint of residual hop oil on the finish. Feel is very clean, but very smooth, with minimal aggression from the carbonation.

Overall, a really nicely balanced and extremely solid APA if not a groundbreaking one. Really happy with it—I hope I get to try the others in the series sometime.

A: The beer is very hazy dark yellow in color (like lemon ice tea) and has a light amount of carbonation. It poured with a quarter-finger high off white head that has good retention properties and never completely faded away.
S: There are moderately strong aromas of citrusy hops in the nose. Hints of pineapples are noticeable.
T: Similar to the smell, the taste has citrusy flavors from the hops but is well balanced by the underlying malts and has hints of malty sweetness. A light to moderate amount of bitterness is present.
M: It feels medium-bodied and slightly chewy on the palate and has a light to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is easy to drink and a good representation of the style; it is packed with aromas and flavors.

Served from bottle into a Samuel Smith imperial pint. Poured a hazy yellow-orange with a five finger fluffy off-white head that rises out of the top of the glass and subsided to one finger very slowly. Maintained excellent lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, citrus, citrus hop, tangerine, orange peel, and orange zest. The flavor was of sweet malt, citrus, tangerine, orange zest, and citrus hop. It had a medium feel on the palate with high carbonation. Overall this was a good brew. Another low ABV brew from Evil Twin that packs quite a punch in the flavor department. The aroma on this one was really quite nice as well as the citrus was definitely dominant. Even though it was dominating the brew it still managed to be fairly well balanced with a nice touch of sweetness. Definitely worth trying if you get the opportunity.

A. Very thick, opaque with sediment. Nice Bronze color to it. Big foamy white head with a ton of sediment.

S. Very strong hop scent. Quite sour smelling.

T. Has a soapy taste to it. Quite hoppy. Nice lemon undertone. It is smooth. It has almost a weed-type taste.

M. A mild sour bite in the back of the mouth.

O. It's a mild drink. Could use a bit more of a kick. Smooth but the weed taste tamps it down. Very good, perhaps aging could make better.
