A - Clear golden-orange with a finger of frothy white head. Fades medium.

S - Sweet grainy and wheat malts, grapefruit, citrus, floral, and grassy hops, bit of lemon zest.

T - Sweet grainy and wheat malts, grapefruit, citrus, tropical, floral and grassy hops, some bitterness, some lemon zest.

M - Medium-light bodied moderate carbonation. Smooth with a sweet, dry, bitter finish.

D - Nicely balanced. Great amount of hop flavor and complexity for so low ABV.

Served from bottle into a Samuel Smith imperial pint. Poured a hazy yellow-orange with a two finger off white head that subsided to a half finger slowly. Maintained phenomenal lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, citrus, citrus hop, earth, earth hop, and fruit. The flavor was of sweet malt, wheat, citrus, citrus hop, earth, and earth hop. It had a light feel on the palate with medium-high carbonation. Overall this was a fairly good brew. I saw the label and laughed at the low ABV on this one. However, upon opening the bottle you could tell this was a completely different animal. There was tons of really nice balanced flavor going on that was a very pleasant surprise. A really well done brew that everyone should have the chance to try.

A: Pours slightly hazy yellowish amber with some particulates. Finger high white frothy head which had decent retention and moderate amounts of lacing.

S: Aromas of pine and citrus hops.

T: Pretty full flavored with it mostly being the pine and citrus hops. There was a pleasant amount of bitterness but nothing over the top. Overall, a lighter amount of flavor than others in the style.

M: On the lighter side of light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation.

O: Surprisingly more aroma and taste than I expected from a 2.7 ABV "Bikini" beer. Easy to drink and well balanced - I guess this is craft beer's answer to the ultra mass produced beers.

A: The beer is slightly hazy yellowish amber in color and has a light amount of carbonation along with small particles floating in suspension. It poured with a half finger high frothy white head that never completely faded away.
S: There are light to moderate aromas of citrus and pine resin hops in the nose.
T: The taste is very similar to the smell and has flavors of citrus and pine resin hops along with a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: If you like microbrews and are counting calories, this is the real Michelob Ultra of craft beers.

Poured into a Gulden Draak flute. Pours a cloudy medium orange with lots of tiny particles floating in it. Thin white head dissipates quickly, leaving a ring and light lacing. Nice aroma of herbal and piney hops and sweet malt. Flavor is dominated by herbal hops and somewhat muted swett malt, light citrus. Finish is crisp with a nice herbal hop edge. Flavor is somewhat mild for an American IPA, but is remarkably full for a 2.7% ale. Medium mouth feel. I'm impressed with what they have done with this. A pleasant, well made IPA. I'm not sure the price point is good for a low alcohol beer, but I'm really glad to try it at least once.

The label features a suggestive use of triangles.

Murky orange pour with lots of sediment floating in suspension. Caked white foam circles inside the glass, a decent layer of creamy white foam takes its time to settle.

Citrusy sweet orange aroma of C-hops at first, becoming slightly dank with mild Sorachi-esque tea and lemon notes in the back.

Tastes fairly hopped up and bitter at first, but then becomes a little hollow towards the middle and finish. Some toasted popcorn kernels, a leafy herbal hop presence, and grapefruit rind. It evaporates quickly, leaving a mildly bitter residual aftertaste. Very clean and simple, it allows the hop character to shine a little, but ultimately falls flat with a wimpy feel about it. Sure on a hot day on the beach it'd be nice, but I won't be packing a cooler full of $7 2.7% IPAs in little 11.2 oz. weiner bottles. It's good, but something is missing...

A: Poured from a bottle to a pint glass. Had an amber color and a cloudy consistency. Lots of little bits of sediment floating around. There was an inch of foamy, fairly long-lasting head. Great lacing.

S: A very hoppy aroma, along with some malt and citrus. Basically, it smells like an IPA should.

T: Tasted of hops - a pretty high amount of them - malt, and some citrus (grapefruit). This is definitely a hops dominated beer, but it is very flavorful and easy to drink.

M: A highly-carbonated beer with a crisp, clean finish. Light- to medium-bodied.

O: Never thought I'd like a low alcohol beer, but here's the evidence. Bikini Beer is a sturdy, drinkable beer.
