Purchased a 1 Pint, 6oz bottle from Cannibal in NYC. Was enticed bt a potentially sour IPA brewed with Brett. Noted on the bottle this beer is produced and bottled for Evil Twin Brewery by Westbrook Brewery in Mount Pleasant, NC

Appearance - Dark hazy yellow. Small off white head

Smell - subtle floral and citrus, sour brett hints

Taste - sweet upfront with floral and citrus. dry hop finish. 6%abv is well balanced. little to know brett sourness or earthy flavors. Not overly hoppy, but its still predominately an IPA

mouthfeel - light carbonation, smooth and creamy, thick

overall - Refreshing, but forgettable IPA. Was expecting a greater expression from the brett yeast.

On tap at The Proletariat. Told this was an American IPA brewed with Brett.

Pours a cloudy yellow body with bright floral aromatics. Smooth and creamy feel with only a touch of carbonation, reminiscent of a cask ale. Tasty citrus notes define the palate with alcohol barely noticeable. Great summer beer. Extremely drinkable.

Descrip - Danish: IPA gæret 100% med brettanomyces og humlet med Galaxy, Citra, Summit og Cascade.

Tried out a small sampling of this non-American IPA at Poor Phil's. 1.5 oz. served in a pint taster on June 15th, 2012.

A - Pours a slightly hazy, light yellow. Appearance is saison or pilsner-like. Eggshell white head with good edge-clinging retention and okay lacing.

S - Very floral aromatics. There is a slight grassy Brett undertone, some lemon citrus, and a touch of a bready malt bill.

T - Weird, weak front-palate of wheat and grass transitions into a strong hop note at mid-palate. The hop quality pushes through the rest of the drink and overpowers everything else beyond recognition. Heavy lemon residue aftertaste.

M - Light body, fair carbonation, dry resiny finish.

D - Smell was vastly superior to the taste. Not likely to revisit even though the additions in this one make it "sound" appealing.
