Lots of peeps be all like, "Waaaaa! Not enough Blueberry, blah blah blah". Well too bad. Chock full of tart blueberry flavor bub, super tasty. Pretty pink color too that make all the ladies go "Ohhhh!!! Look at that manly man drinking a pink beer! Waz his phone number?!" Almost drinks like a cider with that yummy lacto funk. 10/10 would drink again.

A - Nice purple hue with a creamy head that dissipates quickly.
S - Sour blueberries with a little hint of Belgian yeast.
T - Upfront sourness that dissipates into fresh blueberries and a quick finish.
M - Crisp and thin with a dryness that seems to cleanse the palate.
O - Nice, refreshing Berliner Weissbier. Nearly perfect summertime aperitif.

22 ounce bottle - Hop City in Birmingham, Alabama.
Appearance: A softly hazed, orangey body hit with a little tinge of rosiness. A white head foams up and drops out of sight just as fast.
Smell: Though distinctive, the blueberry scent isn't altogether effusive, but does stand out against the modestly scented wheat malt base.
Taste: Lightly sweet, lightly sourish blueberry countered by a puckering punch of citric lemon and give a sprinkling of table salt. Faint straw-like wheat well washed with sparkling mineral water. Tart, lemony, acetic finish
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Amply carbonated, fine in texture, a bit like a champagne.
Overall: Simply dreadful packaging, but the beer was fairly nice.

I had the opportunity to pick up a half growler of this after a little taste at Saveon. I could not resist. I could get used to this.
It looks wild - the berry color darkens the cloudy Berliner. The aroma hints of sweet and sour, just what is to come in the taste, an wonderful blend of tartness.
It lingers in the mouth, nasty and sour, but not overly so. The fruit cuts it just a tad. I thought the flavor would ease up with more drank, but with more warmth (it is barely cold), it gets more robustly sour.
Highly recommended.

Normally, I'm not a fan of sour or fruit beers. My husband ordered this at a local gastro pub and decided he didn't like it. As someone who hates to see beer go to waste, I decided to finish it up for him. Surprisingly, I actually liked this beer quite a bit. Open the first taste, you get a bit of dry sourness but then it turns into a round, juicy flavor that I rather enjoyed. I might need to rethink sour beers now.

Nice looking body, orange, pink, amber tones with a soapy, white head. Aroma is tart fruit, unripened blueberries, grassy wheat. Taste is on point. Tart, puckering sourness, lots of fruity flavors, an earthy wheat finish. Body is sticky, puckering, tart, lingering finish. A great take on the style, I'm a fan.

Hazy pinkish hue with tons of fizzy carbonation.
Tart aroma with light blueberries. Kind of reminds me of the old blueberry new york seltzer waters.
Blueberries are light in the flavor, but it works. Lacto acidity and funky.
Light and crisp mouthfeel. Great carbonation.
A fine Berliner Weiss.

This beer was brewed twice although they are different. One batch at Evil Twin and a second batch in collaboration with Westbrook.
No head really on a murky pink, really grapefruit meat colored body. No lacing. Aroma is of musty strawberry, blueberry and lemon citrus. The nose is strong and tart overall. Flavor is as tart as you would expect for the style with more of what was encountered in the aroma with citrus, blueberry and strawberry on a wheat base. Perfect degree of tartness. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Flavorful beer, I am very interested in trying the original Evil Twin version for comparison.
