Black in color. Dark tan head.
This one is fudgy with chocolate, lots of oak, and some various dark fruit flavors. Roasted malts with hints of coffee. Some vanilla and caramel. The barrels adds some sweetness, but the port isn't overly potent.
Fairly well rounded. Full bodied. Ends roasty.
Enjoyable beer. Glad I got to try this one.

Black with the thinnest brown head.
Some barrel and malt.
Dried dark fruit is subtle like Bell's expedition. Malts are big and rich just like you like, barrel compliments leather, licorice and dark choclate. Only knock is maybe the slightest meaty off flavor. Otherwise purposeful, delightful, just the right intensity of ABV, wine and dessert.
Dense without marshmallow character.
