Very Good
Notes: What makes a great leader? First of all a perfectly balanced blend of qualities; the ability to stand out - be authoritative without overpowering. Show courage and endurance - you will lead the way and set standards. Very important; be appealing and refreshing to the people. This stereotypical portrait applies whether referring to politics, religion or maybe even this outstanding IPA.

Movin' to the country, gonna drink a lot of hops,
I'm movin' to the country, gonna drink me a lot of hops,
Movin' to the country, gonna drink a lot of hops,
Movin' to the country, gonna drink a lot of hops.
Hops come, in a can,
They were put there by a man,
In a factory downtown.
And if I had my little way, I'd drink hops everyday,
Some suckin' bitterness in the shade.

16 oz. can Batch #030

Pours golden yellow with a dense creamy white foam head. Smells like pineapple, guava, passionfruit, grapefruit, orange, papaya, honey crackery caramel malt, with floral earthy minty herbal spicy grassy pine. Tastes like creamy honey crackery caramel malt, pineapple, guava, passionfruit, zesty orange and grapefruit citrus, papaya, with bitter floral earthy minty herbaceous spicy grassy pine. Feels medium-light bodied, slick with low carbonation. Overall a nice IPA.

12oz bottle poured into an Evil Twin pint glass.

Hazy bright gold hue with lots of sediment floating around, decent white foamy head builds up with good retention before slowly subsiding to some bubble sheet atop along with lots of sticky lacing patch and spot, high carbonation.

Very fruity and hoppy with aromas of grapefruit, lemon, tropical fruit, some pine, grass and resin while malt with caramel and bready notes.

Malt acts as a foundation of flavor with breadiness and caramelized sweetness, hop with a grapefruit led and then piney, resiny, some grassy and persistent bitterness at the end. Alcohol slightly appeared when warm.

Medium body with smooth mouthfeel and lively carbonation generated crisp and refreshing feel through the palate, dry finish. Still another good offering from Evil Twin, good American IPA.

Look - Golden glow, slightly hazy, and a nice tiny bubble head that receded.

Smell - Very floral with a little pine and citrus fruit. Also some malty sweetness.

Taste - Much like the smell. Floral and lightly piney with lemon and grapefruit.

Feel - Moderately carbonated and fairly bitter.

Overall- thirst quencher, a nice Summer IPA.

Was able to find a single of this for $2.50 at Carnivores in Oakmont. Into a pint glass. Color is a bright yellow hazy with tiny floaties in the glass and a 1/2 inch of frothy head. Smell is piney with hints of grapefruit rind and sweet malts. Taste is bitter and herbal with little malt balance and some citrus zest for good measure. Stingy it leaves a bitter taste on the palate with each sip. Body is medium and its somewhat easy to finish.

Overall I am actually kind of stunned they are usually really good at making balanced IPA's and DIPA's but this one I guess is bitter and acidic on purpose? I really didn't like it enough to buy it again.

I thought it had a good mouthfeel, there's some dankness and resin flavor, however there's not enough hop flavor, maybe its me but I think I had this beer after it has lost some of its hop flavor

12oz bottle poured into a shaker pint.

Cloudy straw with 1 finger of white head that dissipates quickly. Low carbonation.

Papaya, pineapple, mango and candy sugar.

Papaya, mango and pineapple. Thin candy sugar backbone with notes of honey. Some piney bitterness on the back end.

Medium bodied, crisp, clean and slightly dry.

Yeah, this is good stuff. At 7% this miraculously tastes like a session IPA around 4.5%. Reminds me of Daisy Cutter. Excellent job!

Had it from the bottle in Salvation Jane pub in Clermont-Ferrand. This is a classic american ipa with a lot of citrus notes, some toffee and pine resinous character

4-pk from CBX. 12oz bottle into a 0.5L mug...

A: light, golden-orange; slight haze; one finger of white head leaves a few strands / sheets of lace; lighter than a lot of IPAs - looks nice.

S: orange peel; bright citrus notes; cracker / wheat maltiness; nice light, bright aroma!

T: orange pulp; peach concentrate / syrup; hints of light malt; very light pine notes, too.

M: medium feel; moderate carbonation; impressive bitterness is a tonsil pucker-er.

O: a really nice change of pace IPA... light color, yet zesty hops, refreshing, bitter finish. A great spring / summer IPA. Falconers Flight - pretty interesting hop variety.
