Not a bad beer for being as old as it is.

Appearance - Pours cloudy and straw yellow in color with a white finger's worth of head. Fair retention leads to a broken layer of surface suds. Lacing is spotty with good stick.
Smell - Predominant mild lemon sourness. Slight spice.
Taste - Follows the nose. Mild lemon sourness along with a slight spice bite. Wheat peaks through by mid-taste. Finish is on the bitter side, with orange and lemon pith flavor.
Mouthfeel - Light in body with fair carbonation.
Overall - Not a great wit by any means. Frankly drinks more like a white IPA, which is what they should have marketed it as. Steep price for something this pedestrian.

another somewhat average offering from evil. thats two in a row. a very out of place grainy sweetness for the style, and the coriander is way back in this one. the hops are way bitter too, which is odd in a wit. i am all for bending style guidelines, but to make unnecessary deviations adds very little. hazy honey colored. the yeast in nose and taste is anything but belgian, generic ale yeast sounds better to describe this. very little fruit, a little too much hops, and not enough wheat flavor to unite the two in any convincing way. the feel really works though, with a fuller body and beautiful carbonation, this gives the witbier an element it doesn't often posses, which is the ability to refresh and satiate at once. a sub par beer here, and at 10 bucks a go, more than its worth by a considerable margin, but an easy enough to drink beer, just a far cry from the wits we all know and love without any worthwhile twists.
