I'm trying this beer at Haxnbauer in shanghai. It Poured a clear caramel amber with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had hints of hazelnut and roast. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. There was hints of nut meh and chocolate. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with smooth carbonation. Overall it was a decent beer.

Pours a golden amber with a large off white fluffy head. Aroma is of wheat, dark malt and yeast notes. Taste same as aroma with some moderate bitterness. Palate is a medium body with good carbonation. The finish has wheat and dark malt flavors with some yeast notes and moderate bitterness on the end for balance. Overall nothing too special here but still a good drinking brew.

Pours copper with a small head.
Nose shows sweet nutty, toasty and bready notes. Some subtle banana too.
Flavours include bready and nutty malt as well as some doughy wheat.
Pretty decent stuff.

500ml bottle.Weizen glass. Dark amber color, orangish brown tints to the light. Foggy. Beige, large bubbled froth & poor crown. Toasted & caramel malt, sugary aromas, floral notes & light ripe banana hues. Toasted, spicy & low hoppy upfront. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Oily to watery texture. Hues of fudge chocolate & phenolic notes. Cloying sweet finish. A boring one.

L: Burnt orange colored, hazy, tons of carbonation visible. Originally poured a humongous head though it dissipated into a film
S: Granola, sudsy, soapy, nutty, slight hints of caramel
T: Sweet grain, molasses, notes of toffee, slightly nutty and earthy
F: Light, smooth, easy drinking. Crisp up front
O: Solid but not amazing. Sort of missing the beautiful esters and phenols of some other wheat beers. Good use of malts however.

Solid dunkelweizen - remember to drink this one at cellar temperature to really bring out the herbal notes.
