12 oz. bottle poured into tight nonic
(July 16, 2017 born-on date printed on bottom of bottle, or so I assume from the "197 17 B3E P 2310" code — a little research says this beer hasn't been on shelves until about Feb. 5-6, so your guess is as good as mine)

L: murky amber-brown, at least 60% opaque after a relatively careful pour (lots of sediment at bottom of bottle); pushes up thickish head of beige foam almost an inch tall; light sticking off head; keeps a thick collar and most of a skin; no major lacing

S: malty mix of peach, fruitcake, sweet baked bread/baked goods, grain, sour grain, creamed corn ... the bread malt base is nice, and as it warms there's loads of fruity sweet notes, plum, dates, lots of fruitcake, more peach, peach/apricot kolache; yeast

T: yeast and creamed corn lead, toasted creamed corn, light earthy bitterness, tastes more like dirt hops than too much medicinal alcohol; light sweetness, molasses or burnt brown sugar ... it's very, very light, though

F: solid all around, midweight, good carbonation, nothing out of order

O: lots of potential with lots of good malty notes, and the dirt-hop flavor blends into a charred-wood note that's arguably a bit earthy/bitter but still tasty; the presence of creamed corn suggests the beer is, in fact, 6 months old, but if that's true, kudos to the brewer for constructing a relatively sturdy brew — the creamed corn is very light, and over time it seems less like creamed corn and more like a tasty caramel malty note; the beer definitely had to warm a bit (45-50 degrees or so) before the flavor matched the maltiness of the nose, but overall worth the 6-pack purchase
