This beer blew me away. I had at lunch with my brother in law on draft at Major League Grill in Beaumont, TX. Delicious citrus malt on the nose, perfect balance and drinkability is great. Maybe it was just the moment but I was feeling a bit of a buzz after one 24 oz. beer which is unusual. Wasn't expecting such a great brew for a fairly new brewery (I tried Live Oak Hefeweizen a few days before & this blew it out of the water!) and I will definitely be drinking more of this brew.

This pours a very clear and light golden color with a rich white head is long lived, settles so slow I see no lacing.

The smell is grassy pine on a rainy day with earth and floral notes. The hops are subtle and a bit peppery.

The taste is exceptionally good for the style. The hops balance the sweet malts leaving it almost dry with a nice clean finish. There are some citrus notes, bread, pepper and vanilla in there. A very nice and complex flavoring.

The mouthfeel is rich and not cloying. Just right for the style.

Overall an exceptionally good and drinkable beer.

I like this beer as much as Shock Top but less than Paulaner. The banana notes are a very nice touch and its brewed local so I get it a lot during the summer. Seems more filtered than Paulaner. Not as cloudy.

Had on tap at Major League Grill in Beaumont, TX. Review from notes

Poured a beautiful cloudy sunset gold with some subtle orange hues mixed in. Two Fingers of creamy head that quickly receded but left great lacing.

Got lots of Bananas and clove up front with some bubblegum and subtle citrus notes in the mix. Very inviting. I cant wait to have this in more of a controlled enviroment to really get all of the aroma.

Taste follows the nose and is very tasty! Delicious banana notes with clove and bubble gum. Just the right amount of lemony citrus in the background. This glass was emptied very quick and needed to be refilled.

Medium bodied with the appropriate amount of carbonation. Smooth, creamy and effervescent all at the same time.

A solid beer by a new brewery.
