22 oz bottle picked up at quick stop at Bottles in search of triple ipa.
A: pours a nice deep golden orange, +1 finger thick foamy head, heavy stringy lacing, carbonation
S: citrus fruits, sweet tropical fruit, apricot, slight grainy aroma, hops, pine, nothing to over the top with hops for a triple
M: medium creamy body, coats the tongue
T: grapefruit, citrus, tropical fruits, cracker, maltiness from grain, a little bit of mineral taste, slight pine resin, some bitterness in the finish, a little hint of booziness as it warms. Not a hop bomb but rather what I would call a high hopped ipa. I split the 22oz bottle and would do so again.
O: good brew and tasty, not on the level of Moylan's hopsickle or green flash pallet wrecker, but tasty if a hop head. Bottle says 100 ibus and 10%abv

Great consistency, little malty to help the boozy hops.

Pours a dark golden orange with two fingers of white head.
Lots of malt on the nose, some generic citrus.
Taste follows with malts being dominant, some lingering pithy citrus on the end.
Medium body with good carb levels.
Overall just too malt forward for my personal preference.

A thanks to the commander of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a hazy dark golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is dank, some melons. Taste is of melons, alcohol, light pine, moderate bitterness. Feels full bodied in the mouth and overall, a bit boozy, but still a pretty good beer.

At last! With this monster, I am now current with my Tavour CANs! What about the bottles?, you ask. I will now ChANnel Robert DeNiro: F**K the bottles! I'll get to them when I get to them! I am buying fewer & fewer anyway. The CANQuest (tm) has become a runaway train rolling down a steep incline into oblivion!

From the CAN: "!01 IBUs" + a snazzy portrait of @cavedave in action (or izzit in inaction?).

Beer for breakfast is the only way to go when I get up for a non-existent job assignment! I began with a Crack! of the vent & followed that up with a slow, steady Glug until I realized that it was just another hazebro, bro. At that juncture, it was fair game for a hard, solid Glug that raised just over a finger of dense, foamy, rocky, tawny with decent retention that left nice lacing in its wake. Nose had an all-too-familiar tropical fruit sweetness. C'mon, man! I am a hops junkie! I need a fix & this was not gonna be it! Mouthfeel was medium, but a little thin for this style. The taste was moderately better than the nose with a bit of pine and grapefruit thrown into the mix, but it was not quite enough to offset the inherent sweetness of the tropical hops. Sigh. It was really too bad since a) I generally like this brewery & their beers + b) I have had some recent iterations where the tropical & PNW hops were commingled to my liking. I will also say that as it warmed, the bitterness became a bit more evident. I still was not entirely satiated, but I was happier & hoppier than I had been. Finish was semi-dry to dry & I CANnot decide whether it was due to the alcohol heat, the hops or just my fervid/fervent imagination. Whyncha try one & get back to me? Onward!

16oz can served in a big snifter. 3-14-18.

Pours a hazy amber with a biggish head and a lot of carbonation. Smell is juicy and resinous.

Taste is overpoweringly bitter. There is a tiny bit of juicy sweetness in the background. It's not bad, but it's too much.

Mouthfeel is dry and resinous. Overall, not bad, just unbalanced. A little surprisingly they were able to cram in enough hops to overpower 10% abv.

Poured from 16oz tall can into a tulip. Can is stamped 3/14/18, so I'm assuming that's the canning date -- pi day!

Appearance: moderately hazy orange hue with two fingers of frothy ivory foam atop. Head has decent retention and leaves a nice lace on the glass.

Smell: very earthy and dank hop aroma; it's good, but it's rather one-note in my opinion.

Taste: a little brightness and sweetness in the flavor give life to the dank hop character present in the aroma; perhaps just a little bit too piquant overall, but still a darn good beer.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess for the style. I like it.

Overall: an interesting beer. I like it overall, though the extra shot of something (I'm calling it "piquant" but whatever it is, it's some kind of imbalance) could be toned down.

Poured from a bomber into a Dogfish Head tulip. Goofy hippie artwork, par for the course with Three Heads 'Kind' series (multi-armed hippie on a bigwheel? why not?).

L: Murky medium golden copper pour. Two fingers of foamy off-white head. Great lacing.

S: Tropical fruit... juicy... pineapple and citrus.

T/F: Bready and caramel malts mixed with juicy sweetness. More tropical notes with pineapple, grapefruit, and hibiscus. Resinous and sticky on the tongue. Well carbonated... finish is tropical and bitter. Masked by the warming EtOH.

O: A big warming Triple IPA. Not bad, and a lot of good flavors here.

Poured into a small chalice: color is hazy, thick looking gold color, off white dense head, fairly bright white head; head lingers very well with thick lacing on the glass.

Smell is floral at first then quick transition to fruit with a blend of mango/pineapple/citrus rind finished with a sharper bitter pine and some moderate boozy estery notes.

Taste is juicy and full, floral and bitter, fruity and piney; big beer, big flavor and fairly well executed and still drinkable on the bottom end of the bomber.

Mouthfeel is bitter, tongue numbingly bitter, but moderate mouthfeel from the carbonation and softening from the hazy/biscuit/wheat that could be present.

Overall a big, hoppy beer with great blend of hop flavors, strong bitterness. Great beer to let warm but prepare to sip as the bitter mouthfeel is strong.

Poured into a 16 oz Flying Dog tulip glass not sure when it was bottled, but I trust @jzeilinger and know it is fresh. Pours a dark hazy orange with a massive 3 finger stickywhite head that clings tothe glass leaving a ton of patches of lace behind.

Smell is apricot, hard candy, over ripened mellon, peach, pine, tangerine, and grapefruit rind.

Taste follows apricot, hard candy, ripe honey dew, peach, tangerine, pine, and a heavy dose of grapefruit and kind bud's.

Mouthfeel is on the big side, sticky as hell from loads of hops, enough carbonation, and drinks easier than it should, but really lingers after each sip.

Overall this is a very nice beer, not for everyone, but a hop head like me enjoys a huge dank beer like this. Really enjoyed it.

22oz brown bomber, sample from the brewery.

Mildly hazed rich golden hued brew with lots of lacing action on top. Smells like an orange tree punched me in the nose, some suggestions of pineapple, green tea, and melon rind in there as well. Semi-chewy body, clean and juicy. Some malt in there, mild toast and a hint of caramel. Hop bitterness is just aggressive enough, pineapple, grapefruit, pith and rind, tea, dried grass, and a dull earthiness. Very warming with more tropical fruit within the esters. Finishes quite bitter with lots of citrus rind flavors lingering in the aftertaste.

Loving this brew, very well put together.
