(from notes)
On tap at the co-op, 12 oz snifter. Description: "Krampus is Triple Dee cask-conditioned with holiday spices mulled in orange blossom honey and whole leaf East Kent Golding hops."

Look- Honey amber with orange-ruby highlights. Served with a half finger of creamy head. Excellent lacing despite the ABV.

Smell- Fir, cinnamon, tons of spice, warm, woody, potpourri. Very unique.

Taste- Cream soda, butterscotch, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, candied orange. Spicy, gingerbread, graham cracker molasses, savory. Fades to a lighter cinnamon/nougat with herbal bittering. The EK Goldings advertised are distinct. Christmas cookies, fireball candy. Reminiscent of sweet things, but not overly sweet in itself. Very nice.

Mouthfeel- Medium-full. Low carb, cinnamon actually lightens it a bit, moderate warming as well as heat from the spice. Not too boozy. 12 oz. was enough, but I relished it.

Overall- Bold, spicy, rich, christmas-y, and appropriately named. You'll never see this one anywhere else.
