Overrated a bit due to lack of ratings. Nice amber color with sudsy off-white foam that clings to the glass. Taste is overly floral with notes of grapefruit, lemon, mineral salt, malt, and a bit of alcohol sweetness. Dry and bitter, but clean. Well carbonated and creamy but delicate feel. A macro lager drinker’s DIPA.

Pours a golden amber color on draft, nice citrus notes on the nose, with grapefruit and tangerine most prominent, and a bit of malt sweetness.
The grapefruit is forward and dominant on the taste, with the malt for balance. The mouthfeel is full and a bit drying, fitting the style for this flavorful DIPA.

A parent from my son's South Bend hockey tournament team gave me a can of this. It was pretty tasty.

Got this on tap at Hopcat in Broadripple instead after they had just ran out of Alpine Nelson.
A - Vibrant darker orange color. Slight haze from the dry hops with a fine white head and good lacing.
S - Strong hop fragrance with fresh grapefruit, citrus, and dankness. Some pine, resin, and herbal tones but mostly grapefruit inspired.
T - Terrific hop flavor with a full fruit bouquet hop character with tons of grapefruit, citrus, pine, and resin hops. This beer is fruity and then evolves to a great beer with the other flavors helping the big hop nature. The malt, some caramel, and some alcohol all go into the middle of this beer making all of the great hoppiness really pop on the palate. The bitterness is pretty strong but with so much flavor it only adds to the beer.
M - Medium mouth feel with moderate carbonation. It seems like it would be heavier with the resin and malt but it finishes nicely with a drier, hop kick on the end.
Overall, a terrific beer. Amazing aroma, flavor, feel, appearance, and anything else you would desire in a DIPA. This was definitely impressed with this beer! I've had their pale ale "PDG" and it was a perfect example of the style but not flavorful enough for me and then this one really comes out well! Not necessarily the best DIPA I've ever had but I would definitely recommend it!
