12 oz
Pours a deep hazy brown. Head is thick and yellow-tan, dissipates very slowly.
Smells of biscuit malts, walnuts, and dry bitter hops.
Tastes of biscuit malt with a hint of grape sweetness over pecan and walnut with a flavorless bitter hop finish.
Medium body with soft tingly carbonation on the roof of the mouth.
A nice solid ale with some good flavor and body, drinks pretty easy and is worth trying.

Something with the pours of these Flat 12 bottles, just gushers.Pours a hazed medium amber with the large gushing slight off white head,a smack of citric hops is very nice with some brown sugar and caramel notes underneath.Love the flavors going on here a big dose citric and herbal hops over top of caramel and toffee maltiness,I even dectect a little nuttiness.Well the pours and feel of their bottled beers leave a little to be desired the flavors of this amber is top notch, the hop and malt profile is top notch.

(Served in a globe glass)
A- This beer pours full glass of light tan head that last a good bit and settles into a clear amber brown body with a strong carbonation.
S- The lightly toasted dry biscuit malt flavor has just a hint of spice to it in the finish.
T- The biscuit malt has a nice lightly toasted quality to it but it stays dry with a cinnamon quality to the dry green hops in the finish. The hops turn a bit more like green wood as the beer opens up.
M- The medium mouthfeel has a gentle fizz texture and no alcohol heat noticed.
O- This is a nice full malt flavor that is a bit 1-dimentional but the hops support it nicely. The carbonation is way too big but there was no sign of infection.

Attractive cloudy amber (not a surprise), with a thick head of off-white bubbles. Substantial 2-3 finger lacing, too. Good.
Nose is rich caramel malts. Sturdy and alluring.
Taste is brisk, with tones of roasty caramel. toasted grains, and a bit of a sharp citrus hops kick near the finish. Quite enjoyable, and a surprisingly tasty amber ale.

Pours a light reddish brown. Not hazy or cloudy, but still slightly translucent. The head is an impressive combination of larger bubbles and foamy, cloudy looking bubbles. Good retention.
There isn't a lot of smell, but what's there is like a roasty charcoal scent. Grainy.
I was expecting something malty, but it's just the opposite. Tastes like a pale ale, or even a black IPA. Has a charcoal taste, some pine and no semblance of maltiness.
For a split second, it's smooth, and then the charred flavors and hoppy bitterness take over and continue well into the finish.
Not all that good, even for a style I don't typically care for. It's not an easy drink. My palate stayed confused even after downing most of the glass. Not something I'll drink again.

Vigorously poured from growler into beer glass.
A: Nice amber color with a very nice two finger head.
S: Malt, caramel, a little bit of hops
T: Same as the smell, caramel and malt but has more hop presence than the smell. Very good though.
M: Excellent mouthfeel! Very smooth but still has good carbonation. Chewy aftertaste that lingers and is amazing.
O: Definitely try this beer if you make it to Flat 12!

Enjoyed form the 12 oz bottle in a pint glass via a friend from work----THANKS JUSTIN!
Pours a medium slightly cloudy amber with a nice head of off white foam that settles to a thick ring, thin layer, and very nice lacing. Nose of caramel malts, lightly breaded malts, and moderate hop notes---spicy and herbal. Flavors follow the nose with caramel malts instantly beaten into shape by piney and herbal hop notes. Moderately bitter finish is lightly dry and quaffable with good carbonation and nice crisp mouth feel. Decent session amber. Not overly complex, but solid for the style.
Cheers

12 ounce bottle. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a mostly clear reddish/amber color with about an inch frothy tan head. Head retention and lacing are both pretty good. The brew smells like toasted and bready malt, caramel, nuts, and some herbal/spicy hops. Taste is mostly like the aroma, but with the addition of some citrusy hops and dark bread flavors. There's also a good amount of hoppy bitterness in this brew. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's smooth and has low/moderate carbonation. Also easy to drink. It's one of the better amber ales I've had recently. I wouldn't mind trying this one again in the future. $2.49 a single.

12 FL OZ. bottle
Served in a tumbler
A - This beer pours a deep amber color. A normal pour produced a ton of tan head.
S - The aroma is sweet caramel malt, and I get a berry scent. There is a little floral hop aroma, and a tea-like smell.
T - It has a floral tea taste to it. At first I got some bitterness.
M - Moderate
O - This was a random pick up in Indiana. I had little expectation. It had a little more going for it than I anticipated, but I wouldn't buy it again mostly because of the millions and millions of beers that I have yet to try.

T-Good deal of malt, caramel and toffee dominate, tad bit of earthy notes with slight bitterness.
M-Light to medium bodied with nice carbonation.
O-A decent Amber, the style is relatively boring and this a slightly above average version of the style.
