Pours a deep amber; lighter than I’d expect. A finger of foam rises and falls quickly to a thin ring. Nose is bitter coffee, roasted malt, and some dark chocolate. Taste follows suit; exceptionally bitter coffee. Feel is thin, quite a bit thinner than I’d expect or like. Drinks much lower than it’s ABV. Overall: average.

Well done coffee stout. Not overly thick but well balanced.

12oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It left minimal lacing on the glass. It smelled strongly of roasted coffee, chocolate, toffee and molasses. Great coffee taste with sharp bitterness. Sweet chocolate and toffee backbone.

Forgot to rate when I had it. Draft pour at 2nd Shift Brewing, 02/01/2020.
Roasty coffee on the nose, with the palate boasting even more richness to accompany a light bitterness on the tail. Good smooth mouthfeel. Very solid.

From Mike's in KCMO.
Best by 6/2/20.
Tallgrass snifter.
Inky black, slightly thin, with a creamy beige cap of 1 finger, receding to 1/2 finger leaving sparse lacing.
Aroma brings rich hazelnut/just nutty coffee; vanilla icing, caramel rolls, melted chocolate, and even some dark fruit/tobacco.
Flavor brings what I swear is about five different shades of vanilla, and then chocolate, tobacco, slight ash, molasses, blueberry scone, banana waffles, and then some piney hop at the finish (which I think throws it off a bit). Tobacco and melted chocolate grow larger/become the main event the more it is sipped.
Feel is slick, sticky, burning, huge. Lots of dryness and alcohol burn.
Overall, an absolutely impeccably brewed imperial stout. This one really impressed me. I can't wait to buy more. The 1 overall is for their woke agenda.
Price paid : $17.99 / 4 pack
Would buy again : Abso-fricken-lutely

12oz canned on 12/5/19 with an "Enjoy By" of 6/2/20. Opened on 2/15/20.
1/4" tan head with very limited retention, settles quickly to a ring/island scenario. Jet black middle with some brown/reddish tint toward the bottom when held to a light.
Dark, ripe fruit up front in the aroma, banana, and roasted malt and a hint of coffee - unless the coffee used is a "fruity" bean. The dark fruit aroma seems a little out of place and maybe that is the complexity of the coffee bean used. Unclear. Open mind. Some traditional coffee aroma upon warming.
Sweet, dark malts. Fruit. Booze to the point that blindly tasted you may think this was barrel aged. Not near roasted / charred enough to make me think imperial stout. Very sweet to only have a coffee addition.
Full bodied, round and slick mouthfeel. Long and sweet finish. Boozy heat.
Good. Expected way more, not seeing this as a coffee beer at all -- the alcohol registers it in the Imperial Stout class but the roasty, chewy character is lacking.

12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours almost black; small khaki head that fades leaving okay retention and lacing. The aromas are on the mild and subtle side. Hints of chocolate and banana. Lots of malts. The coffee basically goes unnoticed in the aroma department. The flavors are sticky and sweet. Lots of milk chocolate. More banana along with some mild hints of vanilla. Some caramel in the mix. Some dark fruits. The coffee is pretty mild, but slightly noticeable in the finish. Strong malt backbone. Alcohol basically goes unnoticed for the most part. Mouthfeel is full-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's fluffy, slightly velvety and smooth.
This is a solid stout. The coffee doesn't really shine though. If I drank this blind I don't think I'd guess that this was a coffee stout. It's not much different from their regular Liquid Spiritual Delight, which I just tried yesterday. It's still bold, sticky and sweet which makes it fun to drink. Not bad at all for what it is. It's probably better than my "numerical score" might indicate.
