Big chocolate flavor and aroma with liquorice and anise and bitter earthy hops. Whiskey is present with toffee and rye spice on the finish. Fantastic mouth feel. Super rich flavor and mouth feel make this a sipper. Really enjoyed it.

Pours thick and black. Maybe a bit of dark chocolate color around the edges. Head is small and slow to form but long lasting and dark khaki in color. Good amount of lacing left behind but it doesn't linger.

Rich, thick, sweet aroma. Whiskey and strong chocolate. Both milk chocolate and dark chocolate. Espresso, vanilla, and roasted malt.

Taste is similar to the aroma. Big whiskey and chocolate notes. Vanilla, coffee, and roasted malt. Cream, caramel, and licorice. Some earthy hops around the edges, very subtle.

Fantastic mouth feel. Thick and creamy. Sweet without being syrupy. Mild carbonation. Coats the tongue leaving behind lingering flavors and sweetness.

This is a really well done barrel aged stout. Big aromas and flavors. Balanced. Mouth feel is truly exceptional. Chest warmingly boozy.
