Painfully priced at $13 for a 12oz can, this was a real treat.
Poured dark and smooth, not a heavy stout at all. Incredibly strong aromas of vanilla, chocolate, and barrel. There isn't anything overly complex or layered about this, but it's an almost flawless spin on their already solid base stout. Smooth enough that you'll have to remind yourself to slow down; so balanced that you won't want to.
Some of the TWCP stuff can be overhyped, but this isn't one of those beers. The only thing worse than the price point was finishing my only can.

2022 edition. Cold 10 oz tap hit, presented full to the rim, zero head. Dark as my heavy metal heart. I let it warm up to almost room temperature.
Smells right; Buffalo Trace barrel, vanilla.
Tasty! Woody & earthy bourbon notes complemented by bittersweet chocolate and floral vanilla accents. Very sweet! Not boozy.
Feel is Robitussin thick. Gotta keep a glass of water handy or this could become a gop burp.
Overall, great dessert sipper. I’d smoke a fine Romeo y Julieta cigar with a snifter of this next time.
