Opaque pastel yellow, spotty lacing around the edges. Suspended yeast sediment, textbook Witbier appearance. Not a lot of foam, but enough to maintain a compact white brim on top. Flecks of spotty lacing all around. Traditional as can be.

Lightly earthy coriander aroma, softly wheaty and mellow.

Wheaty with somewhat tangy citrus upfront... lemon zest, earthy coriander. Not especially spicy or phenolic, light body with a dominant wheat presence lending itself to a smooth, mellow feel. Perfect for warm weather, simple and understated. Very easy drinking, a fine session choice.

A - Wow, what is this? Egg yolk? Pulpy grapefruit juice? A somewhat disgusting looking beer, perhaps I got the dregs (as in all of them) that were sitting at the bottom. It did have a head on it at least, that distracted a little from the body.

S - Honey, wheat, citrus, orange peel, smells like a decent enough wheat beer.

T - An easy tasting and drinking wheat beer that most non-craft people can go in and like. A little sweet, with some bread and orange peel. It's kind of just there, and not noticable for good or bad reasons.

M - Slightly creamy, moderate carbonation.

O - Why is this so ugly? From a first impression this beer sucks, so hence the lower than average overall score.

On-tap at the brewpub, served in a taster... This is actually one of the ugliest beers I've ever seen, it looks like a yeast slurry. An ugly opaque yellow, milk mixed with a wit. The head is chunky and looks yeasty... The aroma is good but a touch too sweet, honey and wheat, some orange peel and bread as well... The taste is unbalanced and a bit watery. Again very sweet, lots wheat and orange peel, a little hops come through as well. Easy to drink but I'm not a huge fan.
