on tap at brewery.
Pours a nice deep amber with a moderate tan head.
The aroma is quite funky and dank, but not unusual traits for style.
The flavor somewhat follows the nose. although there's a funky and yeasty quality, it has no real off=flavors. Rather fruity with both banana and other non-citrus flavor.
M: medium body; decent carbonation.
O: not my style. Challenging but enjoyable.

Growler split 5-ways with some friends. Love the name, honey badger don't give a shit!
Poured a hazy orange with a creamy white head. I'm obviously getting a TON of honey in the nose, along with some subtle Saison aromas of coriander, banana, and yeast. Flavors follow the nose closely, again the honey really dominates with some light Saison flavors. I almost feel like I can detect some herbal notes in the honey, it would be interesting to find out what honey "varietal" is used for this beer. Mouth-feel is pretty full, with a slightly dry finish. Feel big and sweet. This was a pretty interesting beer, but a bit too sweet and big on the honey for my taste. Look at that sleepy fuck...

A: One and a half finger head. Leaves nice lace. Murky and golden amber.
S: Sweet and pleasant aroma.
T: Honey is weak however honey, in my experience, rarely can be sensed. Sweet, spicy, peppery and fruity.
M: Mild to moderate carbonation. Thick bodied. Very dry finish.
O: I think I prefer their shapeshifter. Saisons are tyipically dry however this one is very much so. As saisons go though, the taste is excellent, the dryer finish of the Honey Badger is the only turn off for me.

A - Pours with one finger of white foam on a hazy, dark gold body. The head settles at a moderate pace and leaves moderate lace.
S - Tropical fruit aromas of pineapple and pear alonf with some clove and black pepper. A little bit of beady malt and some spicy hops in the background.
T - graham cracker notes of pilsner malt up front with some sweet toffee. Spicy pepper and clove flavors come out in the middle with some caramel sweetness. Herbal hops come out towards the finish with some light musty notes and a fruity, alcoholic notes of pineapple.
M - A somewhat thick body, high carbonation, and a fairly dry finish.
D - Very nice, classic saison. Spicy wish just enough yeast character.
