Enjoyed at Intuition's first IPA-fest. This one is a roasted malt version of their centennial hop beer. single finger head with nice lacing on a dark body with some light getting through. Aroma is mild roasted malt and floral notes. Flavor is similar to that of their centennial hopped beer with some citrus and floral notes with the roasted malt present but light. Overall I think this one is slightly better than their regular centennial hopped beer.

A - Poured with two fingers of tan foam on top of a dark brown body. The head settles slowly and leaves thick lace.
S - Citrus and tropical fruit hop notes up front with some coffee in the background.
T - Sweet caramel and toffee in front, some grapefruit and chardonnay hop character in the middle. The beer finishes with more dark caramel and a bit of roasted malt balanced by moderate bitterness.
M - Medium thick body, average carbonation, and a slightly sweet finish.
D - This beer has a nice, pungent hop aroma that goes well with the sugary malt profile. I would like a stronger dark malt character, but it works well as is.
