Single finger head with some lacing on a jet black body. Aroma of sourdough, tart lemon citrus, herbal hops and Belgian yeast. Flavors include mild roasted malt, candied orange and lemon, coriander, almonds, milk chocolate. Medium body and light to moderate carbonation. This one is very interesting. Of the black saisons this one is the most "realistic" meaning this may not be the best tasting one I have had but it covers both the Saison base and roasted malt flavors you expect from both styles in this hybrid.
