Poured a cloudy orange body with two-finger head and lace. The aroma is acidic hops like orange with a bit of sweetness. Sharp, acidic bite with a fuller body that passes over smooth and has a bit of tangerine sweetness on the finish.

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had a dark amber color and a cloudy / murky texture. There was a 3/4 inch, foamy, fairly long-lasting head. Pretty good lacing.
S: A solid aroma of tropical and citrus fruits, hops, malt, and pine.
T: Tasted of a little bit of malt (not overly prevalent), lots of hops (a strong presence), a good shot of tropical fruit (pineapple), light pine notes, and some citrus fruit (mainly orange). At times the flavor is somewhat astringent, but mostly it's sweet and hoppy. Lots of bitter hops, but that's balanced out by the fruit elements. Quite tasty.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a sharp finish. Medium-bodied.
O: On the whole, this is a worthy DIPA. Not perfect, but worth a try.

Tastes grassy and bitter pithy. Grapefruit, pine, mildly solvent alcohol and caramel malt.
Medium in body with modest carbonation. Solid

From a 3-week-old can, pours a deep orange. Very hazy, but not quite opaque. Two fingers of off-white foam, good lacing.
Smell is peach and pineapple, with some pine in there as well. Taste is similar. Some pleasant bitterness. Feel is a smooth, slightly rich medium.
Out of a 4-pack, 2 cans were good (this review is based on a good one), but 2 were off, maybe oxidized--super malty without much hops. At $16/4-pack, that's not cool. If they can up the consistency, this will be a good one.

Can dated 7/26:
Pours a muddy amber, the fair haze darkening it a tad. The head forms nicely, a couple fingers, and laces with splotches of foam as if the glass were dabbed with a soapy sponge.
Nose has a nice becoming standard tropical note - mango and pineapple. There's a hint of spice or heat, as well as a skin to vegetal bitterness.
Taste isn't quite as juicy as the nose is fruity. It has a bit of malt presence that adds a hint of sweetness and a grain aspect to the opening that seems to dull the fruit juice a bit. I am actually ok with this in general, and am glad this quality fades a bit as the beer warms. The mid taste gets both the tropical fruit pulp with the bitter skins included. Warmer temps bring in more mango and orange and even some cantaloupe with rind. Ending is just a little bit of the tropical coming through but a line fresh cut pine wood bitterness that sneakily hangs on.
A decent IPA that has some NE substyle aspects. It's not as juicy as some, nor as soft and sweet as others. It's actually a slightly bitter IPA with some tropical highlights until it warms up considerably and the juice shows up a bit more. Not bad.

The hop bill on this one isn't as sexy to me as bridge of bones, however I prefer this one. Obviously a bit of lemon citrus, but clean and easy drinking yet complex
