Poured a light straw-gold body with no head nor any discernible lace. The aroma is basically grainy and a tad of malty. Not a bad beer but pretty basic (or bland) with a medium body, easy to drink, has a touch of hoppy bitterness but other than that it's just a filling, no-flavor malty beer with some graininess and slightly dry finish.

I am kind of a fan of a good cream ale. I know, full of adjuncts and whatnot. This isn't Germany and cream ale is all American. Kind of sweet, most likely from the corn and it's relation, syrup.
I was weened on Genesee Cream Ale and drank it with friends who wouldn't know a pilsner from a Lager, but by the gods and goddesses they meant well. This reminds me a little of Gene' cream. For sure a great presentation of the American cream ale!
The new can features a more realistic farmer who looks like he is already in his cups.

Rating for the style of course, 4 being acceptable.
12 oz. undated (everyone loses points for this, just DATE THE DAMN CANS)) can poured into glass
Look is light straw hay, slightly hazy yellow golden body, minimal head disappears immediately.
Smells faint - like sweet corn, grain, light, floral.
Taste follows suit with alcohol peeking through at 6% abv.
Feel - light good, refreshing, smooth, under carbonated IMO.
Overall, not too bad for a hot day. Needs more fizz, less sweetness, but I get it it. Cram Ale. If they didn't include this in a mix pack 12, I'd never buy it, but hey variety is the spice of life. Expect a craft version of Miller High Life, and you should be ok.

I had this on draught at a restaurant in Wilmington, NC. Pint pour served in a cylindrical glass. It pours a slightly hazy brownish gold with a thin ecru-colored head and minimal lacing. Not much to the nose: cracker with some sweet malt and just a whiff of citrus. I was, however, pleasantly surprised by the taste. There is a distinct corn purée with notes of molasses, along with the expected cracker and grass. This ale is lightly-carbonated but the 5.6% ABV gives it some character. I'll admit I fall easily for Cream Ales but I found Farmer Ted's to be flavorful and very easy to drink. I'd be happy to drink it again.
