Drinking this at a local tap house, Tapped in Greenville NC.
This is a review that I changed because the original review was based on a can, and this one on tap, much better on tap!
Poured from tap into a pint glass.
Looks light amber with a head that dropped quickly.
Smells very lightly malt, citric hoppy.
Tastes citrus forward with good balance of malt for the style.
Mouth feel is medium light.
Overall yes I would drink again.

Looks a little cloudy - nice full head with staying power.
Smell - I'm liking it. It's got the piney/floral nose that I like. Lacks a little "oomph" of the best IPA's, but still above average.
Taste - well done for an IPA. Got the soft-needle pine and hint of citrus - grapefruit comes though, the good kind though not the bitter yellow grapefruit. Something else in there I can't quite figure...perhaps tangerine?
Feel - a little slimey...odd something I've never had with an IPA. It is fresh, in case you were wondering.
Overall - just outside my "top tier" IPA's. A damn good beer. Well done, Catawba!
P.S. Drinking this in Florida during the winter while I'm slathered in sunblock. And I to NOT taste sunblock. :-)

Love the label, so cool. Citra are amongst my favorite hops and cascades are a classic. The initial taste is very fruity and flavorful -however I wasn't a fan of the after taste, which reminded me of sun block. Yes - sun block. And quite a bit of it.

Looks like an IPA is supposed to look. Hazy light golden with great lacing and nice bits of stuff left over. Smells like walking in the pines while you carry a bag of oranges and tangerines on your back. Other than a little rough feel from a tab bit more carbonation than is needed, this is a great beer you should add to your buy again list.
