Pours a hazy golden/orange color with minimal head. Aroma is of sweet malt and coffee. Taste follows, with some bitter on the back end. A medium mouthfeel with aftertaste of coffee

Pours a golden/amber with a small off white head that laces ok.

Aroma is bready malts and coffee with hints of sweet vanilla.

Taste is nice sweet blonde body good malty base with coffee flavors added. smooth and creamy. It is different guess I should read the cans before buying them just thought this was a stout. That being said its an interesting beer that seems very well done.

Mouthfeel is approaching medium and is mighty smooth on the carbonation level.

Overall defiantly worth a try just for the experience. If you like coffee but don't like bug stouts this might be your new favorite.

12oz can dated 3/18/18 poured into a can glass
A: Orange with a 1/2-finger head that quickly settles
S: Coffee, malts, a hint of vanilla
T: Matches the nose; I feel like the coffee being cold brew makes the flavor smoother than many coffee stouts (or maybe it's the fact that it's a blonde beer)
M: Medium-bodied, very smooth
O: Tasty, goes down way too easy & wish I had more than one

12 oz can from/in SC. 77-18 date(?) stamp on the bottom.
Hazy amber body topped with a moderate size, off-white, semi-durable head.
Feel: medium-light, very smooth body with very good, soft carbonation.
Aroma: baked bread and medium roast coffee.
Flavor: mildly bitter. Excellent blending of blonde ale and coffee elements with very subtle vanilla lurking in the background.
Overall: excellent light coffee beer.

I'd describe this beer as the perfect summer coffee beer. It's lighter than the porters and imperials that dominate the coffee flavor category, but it is still heavy enough to command a full-bodied taste. The Evening Joe is equal parts coffee and blonde ale with a hint of cream that gives it an overall smooth and satisfying finish. I hope this blonde becomes a mainstay in Catawba's lineup because this beer is something I would love to have year round.
