Style: Witbier

Alcohol by volume (ABV): 4.70%

Availability: Rotating

Notes / Commercial Description:
Although named as a Halloween seasonal, Zombie's refreshing taste makes it a year round staple. It is brewed in the Belgian witbier tradition of using unmalted wheat to create the light body and white sheen. Additions of coriander and orange peel give it a fruity and spicy character, while the hops are subtle and lightly detected. Don't be scared to blow the head off a Zombie and drink up!

A - pours bright yellow with a big, dense, white head that has good retention.

S - heavy lemon zest, faint straw

T - straw, coriander, orange peel, lemon zest

M - light to medium bodied, smooth, very crisp

This is a light, easy to drink beer. It has a heavy citrusy character and the carbonation is a bit heavy, but overall it's not bad.

White Zombie is a solid witbeer. It pours a slightly hazy yellow with white head and no lace. The scent carries hints of bread and touch of citrus. The taste is evenly balanced and sessinable. It isn't as potent as some wits....which I like the subtly. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its quite nice.

Poured from a 12 OZ can into a pint glass.
Aroma- Malt, wheat and maybe coriander. Nice aroma.
Appearance- A pale yellow color with a small white head.
Taste- The wheat and citrus is present along with (?) coriander
Palate- This is a light bodied beer with moderate carbonation. It has a flavor and texture made for the warmer months.
Overall- A pretty good Witbier that I recommend and i would drink again.
