Mix a six pick up at Wegmans. Poured into a pint glass.

Pours bright copper, 1/4 inch white foam. Active cascading bubbles.Malty nose, light toffee note. Baked bread. Taste is a caramel/toffee bread, which flows into a mild hop. Sweet. Tangy bitter in the back. Milder/sweeter than a typical IPA. But good.

Faintly hazed orange glue with a super tight and clingy craggy white head. Flowery and citric hop presence on the nose. Mild caramel notes comes through underneath.

Crisp medium body with bright carbonation. Rolls down smoothly. Semi-sweet malt presence on the tip of the tongue opens up to floral hop flavor with a piney and citric punch. A delicate balance of malt and hop. This beer allows you to taste all the hop flavor without any of the traditional IPA bite on the back end. Pretty good and, highly drinkable , and makes for a nice session IPA.

This beer seems confused between an American IPA and English IPA -- the malts are way too dominant to let any hop character shine through (and I had it fresh on tap). tastes stale with hints of rotting apple and vomit, to be honest.

I'm looking forward to seeing what they come up with at their new brewery in Belmar, but this wasn't the most promising start, especially considering Kane's IPAs are a ten minute drive away.

Pours clear amber color with a 2-3 finger big foamy light tan head that was full of tiny bubbles, fading very slowly as this cloudy head dissipated at a snails pace, leaving really nice foamy lacing and rings as it went down.

Smells of waffles with maple syrup, toffee, caramel, brown sugar, sweet malt, vegetable husk and graham cracker. A hint of fruity sweetness, but zero IPA hoppy character. Smells like a bitter or brown ale with heavy caramel malts. Way off the mark for an IPA.

Tastes of mineral water, caramel, brown sugar, wet grass, sweet malt, vegetable husk and graham cracker. This is my second bottle from this 6 pack, so unless this was a bad batch I assume that this beer is just not made with the correct blend of hops since it does not resemble an IPA in any way. This wouldn't even pass for an English IPA.

Mouthfeel is smooth and watery with mild carbonation, a light body and more malt that any IPA should release in each sip. As an IPA this beer just does not do anything for me. Overall not very good, even for a bitter it would not taste right.

Pours amber with a sizeable white head that soon descends to a lasting thin cover.

The smell is of mild citric and tropical fruits.

The taste of sweetish caramel almost overtakes the citric/tropical fruit from the hops, but stays even. Somewhat abrupt finish. Rather thin, but stays above watery.

This isn't a bad brew, but it's rather weak for an IPA.
