Had this in Columbia, PA on 2010-03-26

A - Hazy copper with a 1.5 finger tan head

S - Toasted bread, light pine and citrus

T - Roasted malt with a bit of toffee and bitersweet chocolate. Moderate hop bitterness

M - Creamy with medium body and carbonation

D - Session beer. Not quite as complex as a Rogue Dry Hopped Red Ale but in the same vein.

A- copper with light amber hues, 1/2" thin creamer like head, decent retent, leaves white lacing streaks on glass.

S- carmel & toffee

T- roasted toffee, toasted malts, pleasant hop flavor, grass and pine, burnt sugar, toffee at finish, nice balance, flavor has a richness to it

M- light bodied and smooth

D- yummy flavor, easy drinking, flavor may be a tad to rich to session this brew, very good red ale though, i'd recommended fans who enjoy a maltier red over a hoppier red

Poured out a clear, reddish amber color with a small, tan head of sudsy foam. It smelled very malty and piney. Strong roasty flavor, good piney bitterness.

A- Tannish brown body with a white head

S- Caramel malts, some piney hops in there

T- Caramel and toffee malts up front, citrusy hops balance it a bit and this tastes just like a red should

M- Medium body, smooth and creamy

D- Great example of the style, very approachable and I will certainly return.

Now listening to: Pablo Moses - A Song

Thanks to San Diego Brewing for having this on cask!

A- Deep reddish brown, with a very thin, kinda rough, head.
S- mild nose all around, and can pull out all major parts of the beer. This cask did seem to have a bit more hop in the nose, but the waitress had no details about this specific cask
T- Great mix of malt and hops with a crisp, dry finish. Some citrus.
M- As a cask, this was served cooler than most places. But also as a cask, the carbonation was less present and left the beer with a much more malty feel
D- This was a great companion to the jalapeno beer cheese soup!

Look: Nice clear amber with a white head. Nice lacing with minimal legs.

Smell: lots of floral cascade hops, sweet malt, bread crust, and a hint of bittersweet chocolate. Smells like a solid red.

Taste: Floral hops, citrus, gets balanced out by a really nice malt backbone. The finish is the best with hints of roasted malt and chocolate.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied and smooth no hint of booze.

Overall: Fantastic. Easily one of my favorite reds. Love the bouquet of cascade hops and it is balanced perfectly with the sweet malt. While most reds would rely on that this one adds a beautiful touch of roasty chocolate malt on the finish that sets it's heads and shoulders above the rest

On draft at The Lark, East Northport, NY.

Poured a murky farm amber hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was good retention ad lacing.

The smell featured a light caramel and a leafy citric hop.

The taste was a bit loose with a crisp crystal malt and leafy cascade hop.

The mouthfeel was toward the lighter side of the style.

Overall a tasty brew that very much resembled an unrefined homebrew.

Color- new penny copper. Medium head.

Aroma- citrus hoppiness. Starts with a stale hoppiness, mild roasty middle, finishing with a lingering hoppiness.

Poured from 650 ml bomber into a Liefmans Goudenband glass (my preferred all purpose beer tasting glass). Tasted Jan. 2013.
