Perfectly clear amber body, lazy carbonation, fizzy off-white head with lines of lace. Nose contains toasty malt and some mildly citric hop bitterness. Taste is much more developed but a bit mild, with hefeweizen-like banana and clove, toasted malt, fruitcake, and mild nutty toffee/caramel. Slight sweetness throughout, nicely bitter finish. Creamy mouthfeel, perfect carbonation.
Right on the edge of being an amazing beer but falls just short, into 'really great' territory. Despite banana and clove being flaws outside of weiss beers, knowing that this was intentionally and well incorporated I welcomed it. I love the feel, and like the entire profile, just wish the nose was more vibrant and taste was a tad more powerful.

12oz bottle.

A: Clear amber.
S: Intense citrus (tangerine) aroma. Moderate caramel.
T: Quite matching the smells. Fresh hops (citrus and grassy) and caramel flavors. Moderate to high bitterness. Dry.
M: Light bodied. High carbonation. Crispy.
O: Fairly good amber. Hoppy and flavorful.

Bought from Don Quijote 12oz. Amber color, chocolate smell and taste, creamy and smooth, medium body, overall a good beer. It taste more like a stout with the chocolate and creamy taste, but has the look of a red ale so it was not expected. Very interesting to drink.

Pours a clear, dark copper color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Decent retention and slight lacing. Smells of sweet malt, hint of pine, citrus hops, hint of roasted malt, and a hint of yeast. Fits the style of an American Amber / Red Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of slight roasted malt, sweet malt, hint of pine, slight citrus hops, and a hint of caramel malt. Overall, decent amber ale, but nothing special.
