22oz bottle - nice to see more of this brewery's offerings becoming available again in the Great White North!

This beer pours a slightly hazy, medium golden yellow colour, with four fingers of puffy, loosely foamy, and bubbly off-white head, which leaves some streaky cloud pattern lace around the glass as it rather lazily subsides.

It smells of bready and doughy caramel malt, overripe pineapple and red grapefruit flesh, a further indistinct tropical fruitiness, and some plain leafy, weedy, and dank piney green hop bitters. The taste is grainy and crackery caramel malt, brown sugar syrup, some orange, grapefruit, and lemon citrus peel, a still muddled exotic fruitiness, some damp minerality, and more earthy, musty, and piney hoppiness.

The carbonation is adequate in its palate-supporting frothiness, the body a decent middleweight, and generally smooth, with nothing really getting in the way of a swell time at this particular juncture. It finishes trending dry, the hops and heretofore invisible booze factor workin' it in the lingering state.

Overall - this comes across as a pleasant enough version of the style, a sort of marriage between old-school and new, in the American sense. Enjoyable, not that bitter, which I am starting to get used to, but not exactly willingly. At any rate, worth checking out!

This is a Double IPA with a different character. A perfect example for hop-forward but not bitter. Instead, it is indeed very fruity, and multi-layered. Different flavors come out at different points in time (sniff, sip, swirl, swallow, ...). It starts out with notes of citrus and grass, goes through grapefruit and finishes with a lasting orange flavor. In my personal opinion this beer would benefit from a little higher carbonation - due to the very low carbonation, the finish is almost like an orange juice at the end. For me: good, maybe great, certainly not the greatest.

The beer pours out a medium hazy dark golden color, with 2 fingers of slightly off white head---------- the aromas are of orange, mango, grapefruit and lesser guava---------- the flavors are of orange, grapefruit, citrus pith, pine, tartness, light tropical fruit and some floral notes, the beer has a medium mouthfeel with a medium bitter finish----------- overall this beer was good - this was a nice west coast double ipa I have been a fan of Coronado's anniversary beers for a few years now

12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours golden with a mild haze; white creamy head that falls leaving great retention and sticky lacing. The aromas have some tropical and floral notes. Some pineapple. Some malts. The flavors basically follow the nose for the most part. More pineapple along with some orange. Solid hop flavors and hop bitterness. There's a subtle touch of sweetness. There's also a subtle spiciness in the finish. Malts do their thing. It finishes juicy and dry at the same time, but it's probably more on the juicier side. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is nice. It's on the lighter side of full-bodied, or the fuller side of medium-bodied with active carbonation. It's fluffy, smooth and pretty easy to drink.

This is a solid DIPA. It's nothing super crazy, but it still has a nice hop profile and nice flavors. Not bad at all.

Pours and looks closer to a hazy IPA. Huge head and pale cloudy color. Aroma is very earthy and little to no fruitiness. A little more fruit in the drink, but not particularly citrus more neutral light fruit. Still an earthy quality. Decent fullness but no stickiness. Full carbonation.
Solid but nothing special.
Thanks little bro.

Picked up a single from TW Arrowhead on 10-3-18 for $2.79. Canned on 8-10-18; consumed on 1-4-19. Cold stored since purchase.

Beer poured orange with a nice white head that has some nice hang time.

Nose is fruity with hints of citrus.

Taste is orange, grapefruit and gooseberry over a good sized malt base.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied and pretty smooth.

Overall another nice IPA from Coronado!

Pours a hazy honey yellow with a white head that recedes fairly quickly but leaves nice lacing. Aroma is a mix of tropical and citrus fruits. Flavor follows the nose with a nice bitter finish. Feel is medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall a very tasty beer with a great price point.
